My second prompt for the @positiveitrarepaircelebration, and in between commissions I figured I could make up for my inactivity with this Steddie piece! The prompt was by @tinyarmedtrex and it was “we were slow dancing and I just looked down into your eyes and yikes I am smitten”, and I really hoped I captured that love-struck look with Stan! And I couldn’t pass up this image of dancing in the backyard with those lights you hang from tree to tree. Reference used for the bg.

eddie kaspbrak was so nice. he always saw the good in people. like when he waved at greta and she didn’t wave back to him, she clearly saw him but he was like, “oh well, she probably didn’t see me :)” and didn’t think any less of her. or when henry bowers, the dude who relentlessly bullied him as a kid, got hurt when trying to kill him eddie stepped forward as to help him. or how myra was manipulating him but eddie still thought of her as sweet and a good person. eddie used his last dying moments to tease with richie, to make him smile. despite everything in his life eddie kaspbrak was a nice, kind person.
