Dear Denis, your Moscow fans are deeply disappointing and here's why: They will only seem to film the showpiece/tutu ballets which are my least favorite of your repertoire though I'll watch them if that's all there is. Where is "A Hero of Our Time", "Francesca da Rimini", a complete "Lady of the Camellias" with Svetlana or Nina for that matter? No "Frank Bridge Variations", "Golden Age" or a complete "Spartacus"( with Maria) or "Onegin"? The Bolshoi seems to like having you do interviews because you always have a lot of interesting things to say but then relegate your filmed performances to the least contemporary pieces--the exceptions being "Ivan" and "Legend of Love". I know people aren't supposed to film performances surreptitiously but I have to be honest that's how many people including myself discovered you. You're much more interesting and compelling for this lack of foresight on everyone's parts. Would love to see you in a full performance of the above mentioned. Would love to see you in a complete "Scheherazade ". Would love to see you in "Taming of the Shrew" or "Mayerling" if the Bolshoi ever decides to do that or even Le Parc. Pretty much any Roland Petit. "Romeo and Juliet" "Prodigal Son" ? Why not? Now, if you have a say so in this and these are your decisions, I hope this rant isn't too offensive hahaha I know the tutu ballets are the Bolshoi's most famous ballets and no one wants to say otherwise but I hope you know that there are those of us that enjoy you in more diverse roles. So, in conclusion, I hope your fans decide to expand their sneaky filming of you or that Bolshoi share more of its filmed performances of other people in various roles besides the Live steaming events. You're my fave male soloist hence this diatribe. You'll probably never see this hahah So it's a plea to the universe and your lucky fans that get to see you regularly.
The visual poetry of Tarkovsky.
Of course if you cast a beautiful man in your beautiful movie, the poetry of it all can be quite unbearable but see here, I survived.
;)
Really. I don’t know why I put this off for so long. I watched The Mirror the day before and Stalker a couple of days before that. It’s all Tarkovsky, all the time…..
Am I alone here?
I find Oleg beautiful.
It’s just safe, man. You can’t go wrong with navy. My taste is very much: a good pair of jeans, a good jacket, a good pair of shoes. Well-made things that fit. I’m not adventurous. — Cillian Murphy in Mr Porter

The impossibility lovely Maxim Matveev as Stragovin in the great Russian series, Dostoyevsky’s “Demons”(Besy). So much dialogue that the subtitles fly by, so it is taking more than one viewing to catch what is going on. So good.
Ah, it’s been awhile.
it’s funny how you see your stuff on the inter webs. I see my McHattie gifs and edited screen grabs out in the world. I hope they have made some new recruits and fans.
I remember when it was virtually impossible to find anything on our beautiful Stephen.
So, here are some screen grabs from the world’s worst show, Beauty and the Beast, that I sat through, just for you my lovely Stephen fans.
ugh...
