light spiderman brand new day spoilers

i went and saw spiderman brand new day the other day, it was really fun!! :D i really liked how peter's powers developed, i liked that the hulk was in it, i liked peter and frank's friendship, and i liked jean's character arc a lot. It felt a lot more believable than a lot of villain arcs do, like she wasn't some cartoonishly evil person who was healed with the power of friendship, she was a scared kid who trying to find her sister, and just needed someone to be there for her yk

I do wish the ending had been a bit more developed though, it didn't feel rushed exactly but it was like they just chose not to resolve a bunch of stuff? Like jean is allowed to walk free after killing a bunch of people, frank isn't really given anything, and zendaya kinda just disappeared?? Overall still a good movie though :)

you ever watch a movie and then just not know how you're supposed to keep functioning. Beau is afraid is like that but on the opposite end of the spectrum from something like i saw the tv glow. This movie didn't affect my life in a super positive or negative way and i didn't feel really seen by the narrative or connect strongly with any of the characters. But i have no idea what i'm meant to do after consuming that
