not to get all personal on this account i use to post my silly gifs, but as a lonely theater kid who grew up to be a lonely theater adult, i have found a lot of peace and acceptance and self validation in stephen sondheim’s work, and have greatly admired how he spent his life and career mentoring and encouraging the people in his influence to express themselves and share their work. he has meant a lot to me through out my life and he will be so missed. seeing everyone’s tags on my last gif set from those of you who also feel that way have made me very emotional and i appreciate you all!!! it’s sad that he is gone, but it’s such a beautiful thing to know that the world is brighter and more full of art because he existed. his influence will reach so far, for lifetimes to come. his memory truly will be a blessing ♥️
