Hi! You’ve probably gotten a lot of this already but I just wanted to thank you for making the Disaster Bi Flag! It resonated with me so much, and I felt so validated and seen.
Would it be okay if I make a version inspired by your original work, but mine would be in pastel colors instead? I will still credit you as the inspiration of course. Demon horns being broken halos from when they were angels.
Demons willingly grow their own halos, but never complete the circle to symbolize their rebellion against heaven’s strict order.
In addition to the second one, angels are GIVEN their halos rather than earning them. Demons like Lucifer rebelled for freedom and individuality, thus demon horns all look different compared to an angel’s boring halo.
Horns are useful tools, but if you join them into a circle they become useless badges of authority.
And the thing about wearing a badge is that you become a symbol of someone else. You’re not you, you’re an extension of the entity whose authority you’re borrowing. You can’t be yourself until you ditch it
Here’s a visual representation of angels and demons.
I figure that as angels, their “horns” would glow when connected to become traditional halos. However, this blinds the angel with heavenly light, making the angel rely on God’s guidance.
Angels who break their halos become demons, and willingly grow their horns in obscure shapes so it won’t connect back into a halo. Because the halo no longer blinds them, demons can finally see but can no longer communicate with God for guidance – the light they once gave to heaven now belongs to them, hence demons being proficient with fire allowing them to see in the dark.
Extra notes on horns & halos:
Circular horns (Halos) are smooth and easy for God to “grab” like a chain.
Jagged horns are sharp to the touch and can pierce God.
Crucial notes I forgot to add:
The only way angels can break their own halos is through strong, direct, hard force; rebellious angels willingly fell from heaven, breaking their halos upon hitting our world’s surface. That’s why demons are called “fallen angels”.
The only thing that can hurt God and other angels is another angel, so the shattered remains of a demon’s old halo would be reformed into tridents and pitchforks commonly associated with the devil.
Regretful demons wishing to commune with God again would either try to grow their horns back into a halo, or clasp their hands in prayer to form a circle with their own body mimicking a halo. It would faintly work. These demons would become the first priests, and spread the practice to humans.

As someone who changed his name just for fun when I thought I was still cis, i promise most people are ok with accepting a new name, even if you lie and say it’s a nickname. I promise. It’s really easy to just casually go “hey I wanna go by Bob now, it’s an old nickname I wanna bring back” like. Just start introducing yourself to new ppl, no one knows better. and if someone accidentally deadnames you just go haha no I go by my nickname now.
It sucks that ppl treat nicknames as more sacred than trans ppls choice names but still.

Pissed at the CW? About ANY of their shows? Any at all?

There is literally nothing in it but a log in. You can not speak in the rooms. It exists to get as many people logged in, without slamming people with 10,000 notifications, as possible to be set off on a certain day by an @ from an admin.
The minimum goal is 5,000 people logged in. I’d honestly prefer closer to 20,000 just to deal with people who aren’t available (though even if you’re OUSA please pay attention to the eventually-announced dates and times and try to prepare to be online if you can, even after hours), but I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch. LITERALLY all you have to do is log in, and wait for one (1) ping on that server in January to follow some VERY BASIC DIRECTIONS, which shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes of your time, but if everybody does it, it’s gonna make waves.

A 3 minute video which I call: Jensen Ackles being gaslighted into liking the finale.
But Ray he was on board with it after, you are just hating the finale!? Okay.. let’s put ourselves in Jensen’s shoes. And i mean really put ourselves in his shoes. He’s given 15 years of his life to this show. 15 years of hard work, dedication and support. He has loved playing this character that now isn’t just a character to him but is also a part of him. And when you’ve been working on something for so long you want it to feel satisfying in the end. You want it to make sense, you want you yourself to be okay with how it ends and how you will be send off. He cares about the fans, he cares what we think, he cares what happens to his character probably more than anyone. He feels a lot and deeply. He’d been given the finale. He has said his thoughts to the writers. And it wasn’t good. He didn’t want this. He wanted something better for Dean. But of course here comes the important part. Everyone else was in on it. Every writer, every producer and Jared. He was in a room full of people who didn’t get him. “Well Jensen not everyone will like it, we can’t please everyone.” Now imagine yourself in that situation. How would you feel? I know I’d feel terrible. I’d think: well damn something must be wrong with me then if everyone else is okay with this? And that is exactly how he felt. He was talked into liking it because I mean come on ‘Jensen there is no other choice we are so close to it now why butcher it right at the end, just take it or leave it.’ And of course he couldn’t leave it, so he took it.
In other words he was clearly not comforable with this ending. He didn’t want it. It felt off to him. He talked to Eric, he talked to Jared, he talked to the writers. And what did they do? Told him to accept it, that it was the right way to go. It was him against everyone else. Please just try to imagine and really think about that before you say he came around it and actually liked the finale in the end.

^^^ ALL of this!! Just adding that he very obviously did not agree with the interviewer who said, “so you guys really had a hand in it then?”. Like, he says “yeah” to move on, but you can SEE him thinking “this is not my ending.” And he was right.
He’s protective of Dean and did his utmost to protect him, even going against his own natural consensus-building tendencies to be the dissenting voice. Jensen, we’re all so sorry.
Well, that was fun when it lasted.
