Every red delicious I have had has been crisp and sweet, what store are you buying from??

I buy them at, like, Meijer or Kroger or any normal grocery store! They’re gritty and bland and the skin is too thick no matter where I shop! I want to know where you’re getting your apples, I’ve never described a red delicious as crisp or sweet
