A girl is lost inside the woods,
holding a basket of flowers.
She lives right at the edge
and is known as a coward.
So sneaking upon the lady fair
the wolf notices red.
Fearing that the hooded one
will kill him once again,
He leaps into his den just West
of Granny's door,
and finds the grand old lady,
hunting him once more
He runs to the meadow,
and sighs some for relief,
when a gun shot sounds and boom,
the woodsman's on his feet.
The wolf begins to panic,
and runs across the stream,
just to drown before he knows,
he's got stones in his knees.
