Cord Cutting Ritual

To Start off, What is a Cord Cutting Ritual? ✂️

A Cord Cutting Ritual is a practice sometimes used when we want to cut the spiritual and emotional ties from someone in our life. This can be anyone; past partner, family member, friend, etc.

The Steps ✂️

You don’t need any fancy tools to do this. Just a pen, paper, string, scissors or fire, and your energy. Anything else is optional.

Cleanse and Clear your energy by using whatever method you like, (meditation, sageing, prayer, etc.) and focus your intention on love, not hate. That’s not the purpose of this ritual.

Whenever you feel aligned and connected, using your paper and pen, write your name on one small piece of paper, and the name of the other person on another piece of paper. You can write any other words of release at this time as well, but remeber to focus the intention on love. For example... “I release this person from my life, and they can no longer hurt me.” “I am free from all ties connected to this person.”

Once you’re done, you’re going to want to cut your string into increments of 9. 9 symbolising “the end.” For example 18 inches, 45 centimetres etc. Preferably using black string, but any color works.

Now, fold your papers, and tie each paper to one end of you string. At this time if you’re planning on using fire to cut the cord, light your candle, or get your match or lighter ready. (If using a tea light you can choose to add essential oils now, or carve a sigil on the top of your candle)

Finally, cut your rope in the center using whatever means you want. Focus your intention on love and release as you do this, and watch as the two sides separate.

You can then choose to burn each side of the papers separately, and release the ashes; or dispose of the papers by burying them in two separate places.

After this, be sure to close your energy using any method you like. Mediation, prayer (espressing gratitude to your guides), cleansing, etc. If using a tea light, let it fully burn out, (supporting your healing as it does) or snuff your candle.

Now, Trust! The Spiritual Tie is Released ✂️

Just a reminder that you can change this up however you see fit for you personally. This is just a rough outline. Trust your intuition above all throughout the ritual.

How to use a sigil wheel.

A tutorial. 

I rarely use this method myself, but I know people are always looking for tutorials on different methods of sigil making and not finding any. I’ve had a few different people asking for more graph based sigil making techniques, and this is a fairly well known one that fits that category. I hope this tutorial is coherent and answers questions instead of making things more confusing. If you have any questions, however, never be afraid to ask.

💎Crystal Grids💎

You may be wondering, what is the difference between using a crystal grid instead of individual stones/crystals?

Crystal grids create a unity of energies between the healing stones, and therefore amplify the intentions and desires you put into them. The powerful combination of crystals in a geometric pattern greatly strengthens your intention to manifest results.

What are crystal grids?

Crystal grids are crystals and stones set into patterns that harness the properties of the crystals and channel all of their energies. Just one crystal or stone can be an energy source, but combining multiple in a grid can help to direct all of their energies at once, and keep them thoroughly charged.

How do I make a crystal grid?

The actual setting up of a crystal grid is extremely easy. Most consist of a center crystal called a Focus Stone, which is the director of the stones/crystals/etc combined energy! Clear quartz is one of the greatest crystals to have in the center of a crystal grid. They help ground the grid and cleanse; quartz also contains the highest frequency to humans!

What can I use a crystal grid for?

As you pass your grid throughout the day, stop and take a few moments to let the energy flow through you. It’s a good idea to keep a permanent crystal grid in a sacred space, so that when you need the crystals, they are even more powerful! Each crystal grid can be intended for a different purpose or goal. Whatever your goal may be, they will hold and manifest your intentions!

How do I set up a crystal grid?

Decide on what goal or intention you are looking to manifest, and clearly announce or visualize it while setting it up. Do you want to bring more abundance into your life? Are you looking for help sleeping? Are you stressed every morning about work or school? You can create a crystal grid to help manifest any goal!

Choose crystals and stones that are aligned with your intention. There are no wrong stones to use, so trust your intuition and don’t worry! An example of a crystal grid for love could include rose quartz, clear quartz, and pink tourmaline.

Cleanse the energy of your space (using crystals, positive vibes or quick spells, sage, whatever works for you!).

Set up the your crystal grid layout, and place your center crystal/Focus Stone! Quartz is very good for this, and it is often suggested to have the center crystal be a crystal point, as if it’s shooting your intentions upwards and into the universe (but this is of course not particularly necessary for a crystal grid to work!).

This spell is to make someone realize and feel guilty about their wrongdoings.

👁️ Ingredients: 👁️ Poppet, taglock, or other representation of the target 👁️ Paper and pen 👁️ Container 👁️ Lemon juice 👁️ Onion powder 👁️ Optional: googly eyes

👁️ First, take your poppet or other representation of the target. If you have googly eyes, put those on it if possible. Have the surface entirely covered except for the representation’s eyes if it has them. 👁️ Then take your container and line the bottom of it with googly eyes if you have them. Take the pen and paper and list their wrongdoings and then put it into the container along with the representation of the target. Say, “Look at what you’ve done wrong, [target’s name]. [Their wrongdoing(s)] shall always be on your mind. You can never look away from what you’ve done!” 👁️ Then add the lemon juice and onion powder to the container and say, “You shall feel incredible remorse and guilt for [their wrongdoing(s)]. You shall never forgive yourself for [wrongdoing(s)]!” 👁️ If you want this to be a hex, add on, “Until you have done right by me, you shall be forever cursed to feel the utmost guilt for your actions henceforth.” 👁️ Close the container and keep it in a dark place. Cleanse your space.
