Winter Witchcraft
I’ve been looking into winter and death witchcraft recently, and had a few ideas sprinkle to life in my mind while researching! I hope you enjoy!
Associations: Dead/pressed plants, bones and oddities, clear and dark colored gemstones (tourmaline, onyx, howlite, clear quartz, etc), wintery decorative cloths.
Activities: Press plants and flowers to store for winter, buy a cacti to hold the warmth of the Sun, create a wand from fallen branches*, dedicate a strength/healing gemstone to a tree or plant, enchant bird seed and hang up bird feeders, trace a sigil on a frosty window or in the snow, rub the doorknob with cleansing snow to attract only wanted visitors, make frozen syrup in the freezer or clean snow, label bottles of water with affirmations for strength and growth, purchase a reading for the new year, practice self care (chapstick for your cracked lips, take your medication, drink enough water, lotion for skin; check out this and this post!), whisper your goals to the moon and stars and learn how they work.
*This would be so fun to do, especially if cleansed in snow! You could use the snow found around the stick for snow water, to use it to cleanse the wand when needed. To avoid wetting wood, you could attach a quartz crystal to the top of the wand, dipping it in the snow water to fill the wand with energy.
I’m going to become a more active poster on here! My device broke several days ago, so pick a card readings will be harder for a couple weeks to do on a laptop, but I plan to do many more in my shop account @ woodlandtreasures!
