I don't think it was wrong for me to break up with him. But it sucks. because he is everything i ever could have wanted. he is a hopeless romantic. he gave me a shoe box full of our couple memories. i mean...there isn't anything more romantic than that. its so cliche i love it. but, i don't love him. i don't think i was stupid to let him go, because i didn't feel the same way about him. But, i know he is such a catch that i regret how i couldn't love him back.

silent night has always been one of my favorite christmas songs. A reminder to myself for what the holidays are all about. My brother recently proposed not getting a christmas tree or decorating our house. His way of not giving into the commercialism. As much as i didn't agree (because i do love seeing a festive holiday house) I know in the back of my mind that he is right on some level. We worry too much about giving the right gift when truthfully, the act of giving itself is a gift.

So surprised and embarrassed at the immaturity of my alma mater. Especially at the cowardice of the students running away from the professor as he tried to talk to them. Glad that reddit users and many others are calling for blood on this one
