Markiplier - Welcome to the Game

I had this idea while reading a recent chapter of the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint manhwa where Junghyeok (Joonghyuk) gets to use his pro-gamer skill, and I had this image in my head of Markiplier locking in on some of the games he plays and decided to do a pastiche of a frame from ORV. I used some graphic images from Welcome to the Game (all three games) for the screens, because I was being terribly literal. Hah!

Mark at full focus is pretty awesome. He often figures things out so quickly and it's very impressive. If he got sucked into Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse, Markiplier would do juuuuust fine. Pro-gamer skills activate!

Random PHM thought that just occurred to me: for the sake of both controlling the spread of astrophage and also creating backups in the case of catastrophic extinction events, it makes sense to seed Taumoeba in every system that is being affected by astrophage. If nothing else, it makes it easier for any other races affected by astrophage in the future to find the cure. But that’s obviously an incredibly expensive undertaking, even with astrophage fuel.

So the only sensible way to do it is to add taumoeba-seeding probes, similar to the beetles but with an automatic deployment when they reach their destination, to missions that are on their way past other systems. And almost all the missions that will be launched in a post-taumoeba world will be to Erid.

Which means that, in time, the path of travel between Earth and Erid will be marked by a line of notably brighter stars. And if they ever are discovered by another species, eventually the paths between their world and the other two will also be brightened. Whenever a sentient species looks out to the sky, they’ll be able to see the bonds between peoples by looking for the connections of light.

Aaaaand we're officially done!! Gotta be honest I was not expecting to be able to get these last few attacks done, but real glad i did! Mainly cause 1. The last mass attack was HUGE with all the Iron Lung designs and b l o o d rendering, and 2. I had to go out camping the last week of July, with no internet, so I just had to rely on the refs I had saved to work off of. With that said tho, think I did pretty good being able to get them out in time! The Iron Lung one especially god d a m n didn't expect it to pull together so well X'D

All in all tho, was real damn happy with this year of Art Fight!! Think this is the most attacks i've done yet, so many incredibly talented people got me back, and just looking forward to do it all over again next year! >:D

[AU: The Plot's Out Of Armor; This Is The End] "Happenings in the Fiore Region"

Decided to include the spin off games, which means an opportunity for the other protagonists to go and explore! May, Kris, and Lyra are there on behalf of doing research for Prof. Elm and Birch, but they encountered Lunick and Solana who are just like them.

The two rangers are supposed to accompany the three trainers in their research and make sure their journey around Fiore goes well. Or at this point, make sure the citizens of Fiore are safe from them.

I had Kris be the chill and protective big sister of the group even when it only consisted of just Kris and Ethan at the time. Poor Silver had a taste of her wrath when he ripped off Ethan's disguise in the Radio Tower after Lyra called her over.

Had the thought of instead of Simon + Rocky finding Simon in space or on Erid, Adrian finding Simon, or just Grace finding Simon... What if it was just Rocky finding Simon? And due to the thousand ailments of Grace, he went back into a coma to try to preserve supplies?

AKA Simon gets saved by an alien rock thing, and the first human he sees in ??? is sleeping and he's yearning to one day meet him.

Drawing my favorite character from the manga when I was a kid. Yellow is actually still my favorite, next to Green Oak and Silver. I'm only up to the intro of Crystal in Johto, so my list of favorites may change once I continue reading.

My one boring tip to anyone in their 20s is to resist the temptation to rot in your room every time you get a free moment. Dismiss any neuroses you have about going outside and "being perceived". Be a dictator about it, plan your hangouts like they are binding commitments. No excuses! Go to the bar with your friends. Be kinda hungover at work. Socializing is like exercise; even if you don't feel like you want to, you should still do it because it's good for you.
