Something poetically silly that Athena is usually associated with the barn-owl, a very beautiful, majestic and considerably big bird

But no, the Barn-Owl is not it!

Is this little anxiety filled guy!

The Athene noctua even takes its scientific name after her!

I say is poetically funny because people tend to associate Athena with poise and finese, like the Barn Owl.

Only for her sacred bird to be actually a little guy that likes to eat bugs, dig, and looks like its high with those big, empty eyes.

And maybe that's fine. Athena is not the flawess one of the pantheon. Let her be a little gal with anxiety sometimes.

yeah the guy who invented them made incredibly precise infusion pumps (as opposed to gravity fed ivs) which not only meant they could give medications to teeny tiny babies safely, it's also used for insulin pumps and portable dialysis machines. the key element is that it's a peristaltic pump so the liquid stays in sterile tubing for safety
