🏳️🌈 Help your Queer Black girl not be homeless 🏳️🌈
Your Black girl needs help with rent. I had an interview and should hear back from one of the jobs by Monday, really hoping for good news. In the meantime, my phone service ends today, and I need to come up with $40 to keep it on so I don't miss that call, along with help covering food and rent that is due the 3rd of August.
Venmo: Queenloki89
Cash App: $Queenloki89
Rent/food/phone goal $30/530
PLEASE, PLEASE BOOST! 🖤 Help your Black girl stay housed. I'm running out of time and doing everything I can to avoid homelessness.
Y'all, I'm not gonna lie... your Black girl has been bawling her eyes out at the thought of becoming homeless. Rent was due on the 3rd, and my landlord gave me 7 extra days to come up with the money before I face eviction.
Rent/food/phone goal $455/530
i guess i'll poast, may as well
i'm unfortunately caught in between jobs at the moment and relying on my beloved housemates to keep a roof over my head, and need about $500 to be able to keep on top of bills and afford food and such if anyone is able to give a lil doll a hand
Only need another $150 for this month and I'll be completely caught up on everything, any help at all is always appreciated I love you all forever
My little nephew is dying. I will never forgive anyone who ignores this.
We need 700 for my nephew's surgery. The operation is in a sensitive area of his body and cannot be delayed. The surgery will determine his future ability to have children, and it must be done quickly while he is still young, before he grows older and suffers greatly, and may also be unable to have children. Please don't leave us alone. Help us! Donate to us.
My nephew is his parents' only child. He lost his father in this genocide in the Gaza Strip and has suffered many traumas in this war. Please don't leave him alone. Donate for his operation. Please donate, donate! 💔😭
WhyDonate - PayPal - Vetted#642
Isn't what I've lost enough? Isn't it enough that I lost my mother, the most precious thing I had, because of the occupation? They prevented her from traveling, and she was sick with cancer. Or should I tell you about my brother, who was martyred in this war? He was the father of my nephew, who needs surgery. He was killed by a bullet to the head. Or my uncle, who was martyred, and half of my relatives and friends. I'm trying so hard not to lose my young nephew too. Please donate, don't let us down. Donate, donate! 💔😭
Someone has donated 25 euros, but we still need 675 euros. Please donate—I swear I am crying right now; I cannot bear this. Please, my nephew’s condition is heartbreaking; I feel as though he is breathing his last breaths. Please donate—my heart aches terribly. I hope one of you understands and helps me. Please donate. 😭💔
Friends, we still need €580 to get the surgery done for my nephew as soon as possible. Please, do not let me down, and do not let down a soul waiting for your help. I have great hope in you—please, please donate. 💔😭
Guys, we still need 550 euros for the surgery, and the deadline is tomorrow. Please, please don't let me down; please donate so we can go ahead with the procedure. You are our only hope. I hope someone who can help in any way sees this. Please, please donate—please donate. 😭💔
Everyone, we have only 12 hours left to raise the money and book the surgery for tomorrow morning. Please, please—we still need 545 euros. Please donate; don't leave me on my own. Time is running out. I hope we can raise the funds quickly before the deadline. Please don't abandon me—please donate. If we can't raise the money, the surgery won't be possible. Please donate!😭😭💔
Oh God, oh God—there are only five hours left until the surgery, and we still need 525 euros. Please, please save us—save my nephew. We have made all the preparations for the operation, but we haven't raised the money. Please don't let us down; you are our only hope. Please donate, please donate. 😭💔
The doctor called to tell us that the surgery has been delayed by another three hours, and we don't know what to do. We still need your help; please, please save us and donate. I hope to be able to get my nephew the surgery within the next three hours. Please donate. 💔💔😭
Guys, unfortunately, we couldn't perform the procedure today; it has been postponed until tomorrow. We still need 400 euros to go ahead with it. Please don't let me down—please donate, please donate. 💔😭

Just a casual reminder that posting on the internet about how you would want to do physical harm to members of the US government is something that they can (and will) detain you over, so just be careful what you say in public spaces like, uh, on Tumblr.
I have got bad news for you about how connecting to the internet works and how corporations will respond to requests from the government.
this is your semi-regular reminder that tumblr has cooperated with the fbi to hand over user information in a very public way at least once. and that's not the only way the feds can collect information on you either
the us government can issue a special type of subpoena which comes with a gag order. a company who receives one legally must hand over the requested information (“only” metadata, which is typically more than enough to identify a specific user), and they are prohibited from even admitting that they received the subpoena.
a little over a decade ago, there was a big trend in the tech industry to add warrant canaries. the idea is that they may be able to stop you from saying when you’ve received a secret warrant, but they can’t stop you from saying when you haven’t received one. so a bunch of tech companies put language on their website about how they’d never received one of these subpoenas, with the implication being that when that statement disappeared, you would know that they’d gotten one.
before being bought by automattic, tumblr published semiannual privacy reports at https://www.tumblr.com/transparency. the july–december 2015 report is the last to include a canary. the january–june 2016 report says that they received between less than 250 “national security requests”, a category which includes these secret warrants but is not necessarily limited to them.
automattic now just straight up tells you how many warrants with a non-disclosure order tumblr receives, so maybe the government doesn’t include the “you can’t even admit you’ve received one” order any more. or maybe these are just the ones they’re allowed to talk about. (the “non-disclosure” part can also refer to a prohibition on telling affected users that tumblr gave their data to the government)
this is also not the only way the feds can collect information on you.
My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.
Shoutout to people in the notes also mentioning people learning the language, I should've mentioned that really, given that I've been stuck reading German picture books myself while learning German.
"drug seeking" as a patient label one of the most dogshit stupid concepts of all time. fuuuck everybody look out this guy came in here expecting medical treatment. better watch out in case he goes to a restaurant and starts food seeking
i hope everyone gets the drugs they want forever even if they don't need them (ノ◕ᴗ◕)ノ*.✧
exclusivity as a whole fucking sucks and i think its genuinely harmful as a trend and im not just talking about monogamy either i think if youre obsessed with closed polyamory and ethical-nonmonogamy youre actually fucking insane.
i was gonna say like "if you mutually agree to exclusivity and you discuss it in detail its fine" but like even then i dont think relationships should be contractual in that way like. its literally not healthy. you can set boundaries and describe your wants but you cannot hold anyone to that standard to the degree that people hold the fear of cheating/cheaters to. like. thats fucking insane. why is it so normal for ppl to just. completely own the rights to someones elses bodily autonomy and place restrictions on the types of relationships theyre allowed to hold with other ppl. thats fucking insane and if u think anything less then that then you are insane too

The people who'll go "ugh that's not what ketamine does, you people have clearly never done drugs" obviously were not there when "cast ketamine ape" was added to the list of banned spells. Because clearly you've got the wrong idea of what "cast ketamine ape" actually does.
First of all, did you know that as far as magic is concerned, it can't tell the difference between being poisoned unintentionally, being poisoned intentionally, and being intoxicated recreationally. You can straight-up fucking narcan someone with any healing spell that includes removing poison from the body. And the fun part is, they come out in full fight-or-flight. Yeah they come up swinging. Also even if your healing spells are specifically tailored to be used on humans, and are unreliable even on most other mammals, primates are so close to humans in structure that specifically human-intended spells work on them just fine.
Now picture the following: You've got a full-grown adult male cape babboon, already deep in a k-hole, somewhat conscious but with no inkling of where, how, what, or why it is, lightly concealed within some sort of material that it could easily rip through if it was in its full strength. Let's say, gently wrapped in newspaper.
Now let's say you stealthily leave a mysteriously wrapped bundle - almost the right size to contain a human child but certainly the wrong shape for that - in an inconspicuous place. Like under one of the tables at a wizard conference. Maybe under the table of someone important that you don't like. Then, at a safe distance but within reach of the magic, you cast "poison heal".
And obviously, they couldn't just ban "poison heal".
https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/theyre-not-human-how-19th-century-inuit-coped-with-a-real-life-invasion-of-the-walking-dead
Indigenous groups across the Americas had all encountered Europeans differently. But where other coastal groups such as the Haida or the Mi’kmaq had met white men who were well-fed and well-dressed, the Inuit frequently encountered their future colonizers as small parties on the edge of death.
“I’m sure it terrified people,” said Eber, 91, speaking to the National Post by phone from her Toronto home.
And it’s why, as many as six generations after the events of the Franklin Expedition, Eber was meeting Inuit still raised on stories of the two giant ships that came to the Arctic and discharged columns of death onto the ice.
Inuit nomads had come across streams of men that “didn’t seem to be right.” Maddened by scurvy, botulism or desperation, they were raving in a language the Inuit couldn’t understand. In one case, hunters came across two Franklin Expedition survivors who had been sleeping for days in the hollowed-out corpses of seals.
“They were unrecognizable they were so dirty,” Lena Kingmiatook, a resident of Taloyoak, told Eber.
Mark Tootiak, a stepson of Nicholas Qayutinuaq, related a story to Eber of a group of Inuit who had an early encounter with a small and “hairy” group of Franklin Expedition men evacuating south.
“Later … these Inuit heard that people had seen more white people, a lot more white people, dying,” he said. “They were seen carrying human meat.”
Even Eber’s translator, the late Tommy Anguttitauruq, recounted a goose hunting trip in which he had stumbled upon a Franklin Expedition skeleton still carrying a clay pipe.
By 1850, coves and beaches around King William Island were littered with the disturbing remnants of their advance: Scraps of clothing and camps still littered with their dead occupants. Decades later, researchers would confirm the Inuit accounts of cannibalism when they found bleached human bones with their flesh hacked clean.
“I’ve never in all my life seen any kind of spirit — I’ve heard the sounds they make, but I’ve never seen them with my own eyes,” said the old man who had gone out to investigate the Franklin survivors who had straggled into his camp that day on King William Island.
The figures’ skin was cold but it was not “cold as a fish,” concluded the man. Therefore, he reasoned, they were probably alive.
“They were beings but not Inuit,” he said, according to the account by shaman Nicholas Qayutinuaq.
The figures were too weak to be dangerous, so Inuit women tried to comfort the strangers by inviting them into their igloo.
But close contact only increased their alienness: The men were timid, untalkative and — despite their obvious starvation — they refused to eat.
The men spit out pieces of cooked seal offered to them. They rejected offers of soup. They grabbed jealous hold of their belongings when the Inuit offered to trade.
When the Inuit men returned to the camp from their hunt, they constructed an igloo for the strangers, built them a fire and even outfitted the shelter with three whole seals.
Then, after the white men had gone to sleep, the Inuit quickly packed up their belongings and fled by moonlight.
Whether the pale-skinned visitors were qallunaat or “Indians” — the group determined that staying too long around these “strange people” with iron knives could get them all killed.
“That night they got all their belongings together and took off towards the southwest,” Qayutinuaq told Dorothy Eber.
But the true horror of the encounter wouldn’t be revealed until several months later.
The Inuit had left in such a hurry that they had abandoned several belongings. When a small party went back to the camp to retrieve them, they found an igloo filled with corpses.
The seals were untouched. Instead, the men had eaten each other.

Aight which one of yall is gonna be the Tranny Thurgood Marshall?
To give a bit deeper context to this since I don’t expect this sundown-town-ass website to know any Black history,
Im mainly thinking of Marshall’s early career, before he became the first Black Supreme Court Justice. He was a traveling attorney for the NAACP, and won 29 of the 32 civil rights cases he took against the Supreme Court, including ending “Separate But Equal” doctrine via Brown v. Board of Education in 1954 and resulted in a ruling that segregation was unconstitutional.
He was a master of using the words of the system against itself to force it to lose by its own rules, often being able to use existing sociological data to prove the ways that Black people were not just being discriminated against, but were being disproportionally harmed by segregation. He was responsible for releasing a large amount of legal shackles placed on Black people in the US as a whole, though he did focus hard on school desegregations - in part because he had been rejected from schools on account of being Black himself, including Maryland’s state law school.
This is obviously a brief summary, but this is the kind of person trans women need fighting for us specifically right now. Who knows the fucking pains of how we are treated and the horrific segregation, discrimination, and danger trans women face personally. The system aint gonna *save* us but having people do their best to toss a wrench in the gears killing us Officially and slowing things down means even one more person might survive, and even one more person surviving than would otherwise is a win.
That is what I mean by “we need a Tranny Thurgood Marshall”
