I'm from a family of extremely religious and conservative people and I haven't come out to anyone but I was planning to in the future (to my sister who is also my bestfriend at least). But now I feel like I won't be able to anymore. We were having a conversation and I casually asked her how she'd feel if she happens to have a gay child, she said she'll be fine with a gay son... but she doesn't like lesbians. My smile internally faded.

Damn... Down to a Science by Haley Cass was soooo good. There's something about her writing. Not surprising since I've loved all her work. I just finished it and my heart still stings a little from the angst.

I've waited for a year to read this sequel and I was not disappointed. It was so much better than the first book. It was amazing!!! I'm so glad I got to read more about Nausicaä, Arlo, Aurelian, Vehan, and Celadon. God, I miss Nausicaä's sarcasm and she's so in looove with Arlo they're so cute. More characters I love are Luck, Theo, and surprisingly... Queen Riadne. QR is a very complex, cunning character, she's one of the villains I actually like (I hate her for killing Thalo tho, I feel so bad for Arlo). Book three is going to be so hard for Arlo, Celadon, and Vehan. They've all lost a mother, not in the same way but... God it's going to be a very long year waiting for the sequel.

Arcane has been on my to watch list for a while now, why didn't I watch it sooner!!!??? It was sooooo good! I loved it. It was such a masterpiece. istg if Netflix cancels it, I'm gonna riot. So excited for season 2! Need to see more of Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx (my fav)

She gets the girl by Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick was fun to read. It exceeded all of my expectations. If you're looking for college based characters and banter that doesn't shy away from serious topics, you should definitely give this one a chance. Easily one of my fav reads this 2022.

I didn't think I'd like This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron, not at all. The first few chapters were meh but then things got completely interesting. Those last chapters were so intense. I was literally screaming 'oh my god!!!' I'm so excited for book two!!!

I may have shed a few tears reading The Lucky List by Rachael Lippincott. It was a perfect summer read, I should've read it when it came out. Anw, I love Blake Carter.

Decided to watch encanto because I liked the song Surface Pressure but holy shit I was already bawling my eyes out on the first few minutes of the film.
