"Sense" A Love Story Excerpt
"What a great movie!" Monica said to Leon with a warm smile.
Leon just smiled back in agreement as they left the movie theater. Monica and Leon had been talking over the phone for some time and after having scheduling conflicts, they finally found an evening where they were both free. As they walked to Leon's car, they began holding hands and smiling warmly at one another.
"There is an ice cream parlor around the corner from my house." Monica suggested as Leon opened the door for her to enter his car.
"That sounds fantastic." Leon smiled back
As Leon drove towards the ice cream parlor, he was shocked to see that the ice cream parlor by Monica's home had closed a few moments before they arrived.
"Aww man!" Leon said as he shook his head in disbelief.
Monica just giggled and smiled.
"I didn't even realize how late it was." "I guess they don't stay open that late anymore."
Leon just shrugged with a small smile.
As they arrived at Monica's house, Leon walked with Monica up to her porch.
"Well, the movie was fantastic and I guess we'll try to catch the ice cream parlor next time." Leon chuckled with a sigh.
Monica smiled back and nodded in agreement.
As they shared a hug, their lips grazed against one another briefly.
After they looked at each other while blushing, Leon and Monica shared a brief passionate kiss.
They shared a warm embrace until Monica suddenly broke away from Leon. Monica then got out her key out to open the door as Leon backed away to head down the porch. As Monica opened her door, she motioned for Leon to follow her...To Be Continued
