I uh, haven't written so much in years, and I don't believe anyone will see this, if you do, thank you.
Good omens season 3 was... hard to pinpoint. It moved too fast, the subplots drove the plot nowhere, and ultimately Aziraphale and Crowley, maybe unknowingly, I don't know, but willingly chose the destruction of the world they've known their whole lives. If you, like me, are bewildered, I have no consolation. What could, about if the souls matter, if indeed the souls in the new universe is the same as the souls in the old one, just with amnesia and loss of experience, I'd have some sympathy. It's a long shot, but the truth of the matter is, the people in the old universe are dead. They're gone. For the fans, I'm sorry, but deluding themselves, I understand but they're gone. The new asa and anthony are not them. They look the same and act similar and have similar interests but they're not the same. I have seen many people make the Job reference and they're correct, in a sense. I don't wanna start a discussion about identity and consciences.
And as for free will? They have ALWAYS had free will. That was the whole whole point of season 1. For the fans, I'm sorry, but deluding themselves, I understand but they're gone. The world you knew is gone. Thanks for reading this depressing ted talk.
