If I follow you there’s like a 99.9% percent chance that I either wanna plot with you or my muse wants to make out with yours.
The sun is hot. The moon is beautiful. And mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep.
A selection from the Cecilos laundry basket…
Carlos’ on the left; Cecil’s on the right. (You can find them here.)
A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep….
Welcome to Night Vale.
I'm bored! Send me a ♛ if you wanna rp with me, or if you're gonna reply to one of my starters!
Kiara was organizing the intern records. One of which was a smiling, look an awful lot like a childhood friend. They drifted apart, but she still remembered her. She looked closer. Definitely Emily. She dropped her mug, shattering it. "Oh my god!"
Cecil was sitting next to Kiara as she organized the files. Taking a sip of coffee, he had to stop himself from choking when Kiara’s mug shattered. “What? what happened?”
"It was during the rebellion against Strex. She fought on the front lines. Not many died that day but…" he shook his head and shrugged.
"That doesn’t sound like her" She replied curiously. "You must have brought her out of her shell."
"Really? It’s the Em I knew!" He realised how different she was from when they first met. "You must be right. She was fantastic that day though. Doing everything she could possibly do to help."
"Now that sounds like her!" She smiled slightly.
He was happy to hear that. "I would think so."
trying a bit of a different style tonight.

"You.." She began. "You knew Emily?" She was chewing on her lower lip. They had been friends when they were kids, but had lost contact when Emily’s family left the city.
"Yeah, she was my intern before you." He began to feel sad, he forgot he missed her. "You knew her?"
"We grew up together." she began. "Her father used to babysit me when my parents were at work. But her family left town when I was thirteen. I haven’t heard from her since. What happened to her here? The record says she…" She couldn’t finish the sentence. She didn’t want to think of a friend of hers dying. Even if they did lose contact.
"Ooh that’s great, I’m sure her family were great people. Well what happened to her…she came to night vale and became my intern! She was fantastic, such a great addition to our town." He could see her face grow pale. He knew he didn’t need to finish the story.
"Were you there?" She asked. "When she died?" She wanted to know. Emily, though very shy before she got to know you, hated to be alone when scared or hurt.
"No, I was away in my booth. As always." He didn't look at her as he said it. "I really wish I could have been there."

"It's so dark and cold..."
"It's alright! Just keep going! I think the file we need is in the back there." Cecil shouted through the small entrance. They needed an old news file that was in storage. The storage room was never entered because of how dark and scary it was, but Kiara was in there now.
