My Psychology teacher was telling us how it’s really hard to tell the difference between a fake smile and a real smile. He said it’s all in the eyes. If the eyes light up, it’s real. You have to be extremely talented to be able fake a smile that looks real even in the eyes. Then he said that the one actor that could do that the best was Robin Williams, which is ironic because of how sad he was actually feeling inside. I guess that maybe to know what true happiness looks and feels like, you first have to encounter true sadness.
