I really love f1 lewis hamilton and just sort of go crazy over here.

I do reblog a lot and barely filter, so apologies in advance for that.

in grad school, but you wouldn’t believe that based on how i blog here (this is my special place).

I also hate when access is paywalled, so I'll also be archiving some of his interviews here.

*under construction. basically, i’ll just add news/interviews etc to substantiate the races so it’s more understandable. f1 as a sport is very contextual and races are a very variable; understanding what happened during a specific race helps a lot (at least, to me). also, i love contexts and substance.

This blog is specifically for F1 and other sports ramblings (mostly tennis; main acc/follows from: @ayanfe-mi). 

my approach to sport is: just have fun! be a hater, but never be unkind. yes, many of us feel very strongly about certain drivers, as do I, but unless the driver is someone i actively despise, have fun! (is this a bit naive? yes. but that is my stance).

I welcome discourse and discussions on the technical aspects of F1, alongside narratives and general F1 shenanigans.

I very much DO NOT tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, religious prejudice, and xenophobia.

Because F1 is a predominantly white sport and I have a strong bias towards Lewis Hamilton, I am open to providing resources on racism and intersectionality (sparingly because I’d much rather you do the work yourself, but additional help never hurts).

i keep seeing news headlines along the lines of “is mercedes having another silver war fight?” and the answer is a massive no. mostly because they can never be another lewis hamilton (this is the crucial part); and 2) russell just isn’t in a fair title fight with antonelli, given he actually hasn’t fought him that much tbh. for the latter, this is why i’ve always hated the “they are driving in equal machinery” narrative. while yes, a teammate is the closest to an “equal” on the grid, the sport is very variable as we are currently seeing right now. sure, russell is in contention, but antonelli barely has any competition right now. so no, this is not like the silver war and it never will be like the silver war.

​also no shade no tea but kimi and george do not have the really impressive racecraft that both rosberg (whom i loathe) and lewis have. kimi barely has a racecraft tbh.

earlier this week i watched f1: the movie (2025 film about formula one starring brad pitt) which was very bad and had bad vibes and it pissed me off in so many ways. and then tonight i watched rush (2013 film about formula one starring chris hemsworth and daniel brühl) and now i'm even more pissed off at f1: the movie for being so bad when it could have been pretty good like rush. like i don't know much about f1 but even i know that a good f1 movie should have at least one inexplicable homoerotic relationship between drivers and as few usamericans as possible. really bold of f1: the movie to call itself f1: the movie when it did neither of these things thus negating the entire point of an f1 movie. AND it made me watch brad pitt playing the most annoying man on earth for 2.5 hours of my one wild and precious life. rush just made me want to read 1970s formula one rpf so it was clearly a far superior film
