Ugh, #FreeformApp you are amazing. Such a simple little FREE thing that makes me horny. I love planning, I love creating, I love organization. I saw this app a few months ago in a YouTube video & was so excited only to realize I needed the newest iOS in order to utilize it. I don’t update frequently because I’m always using my devices so I had to wait. Since then I’ve been toying around with it and now I’m using it in the way I want to before I put it into use the way I’m going to use it. So far my little every day carry vision board is coming along well. I may put one more project into it or expand this one further I’m not sure yet but I can see exactly what my creative process wants to see and I can’t express how much I think everyone who has an iPad and the latest iOS should try this. I can’t believe I’ve done this. I came home from work because I wanted to play fortnite but ended up falling asleep. I woke up & played 2 matches. This was the second one. I kilt everyone in the lobby lmao jk only 12. But my accuracy, my skill, my abilities as a player all came together in one match. I was unrivalled. I usually get shaky & anxious in the final 3 but I told myself “calm down, your not gonna win” lmao & kept telling myself “it’s not a big deal chill out” I still was freaking out but I was ahold of myself enough to be aware of what I was doing instead of just spraying & praying. I had a strat & followed through. I can’t believe how much I’ve improved since I first started playing. Welcome to 2023: This is a boyfriend appreciation post. In Fall of 2021 I was alone living what I thought was my best life. I was surfing dating platforms & stumbled across a handsome long haired indigenous boy I had never met before. He was 84kms from me & I was intrigued. I didn’t engage with him right away… then I went to my sisters job & saw him in real life. I was in disbelief. “Was this really him!? Was it him in the profile I saw?!” I thought to myself. After a few more visits I found out his name was Junior & he was in his early 20’s, he was cute, nice & charming. We started talking online- at first he didn’t seem interested but over time we got to hanging out & one thing led to another. Now here we are sitting next to each other at the gym talking about going out & eating. I get to come home to him & share my life with him. He’s so kind & gentle hearted- playful & witty. I love learning about him, finding new things to talk about & explore. We are two of the same whole. He’s my everything. Earlier this year I saw a post on social media from the Toronto Queer Film Festival. I was still on the high that doing the Colour Reversal program gave me, I felt the creative juices flowing! When I came home from Regina I had with the idea for three shorts, the first of which was titled ‘dystructr’ about my substance abuse problems. I wanted to shoot it on 16mm but have not had the opportunity to do so yet. The last of the three was titled ‘GOSSAMER’, but the second one was called ‘ E P H E M E R A ’ & was about my sexuality & how I was using dating/hook up platforms… well in the time since March I had fallen in love. The ideas started merging and I ended up conveying much of the ideas I had in GOSSAMER in the project I just recently completed. I am in the final throes of this effort. I am so relieved that I got to this point. There was a lot of turmoil in my life, our family lost our matriarch. Our community suffered a massive loss. I upended my life so I could pursue my artistic endeavors… but there was also joy… I came together with a new friend & bonded so intensely we’ve grown together as one… I starred in a feature film, I got to go visit my second home, Winnipeg, & was reinvigorated in my pursuit of film & media. I took the program in the hopes of teaching myself a new discipline with the help of some amazing people! I envisioned a story & a way to create it, it was so deeply personal.. I manipulated the narrative I originally set out to create & augmented it, I learned new technical skills & abilities, I procrastinated, I laughed & cried & had a manic episode on my way back from Winnipeg lmao 🤣🥹🤪 maybe I should get that looked at.
