The time has come to say goodbye to 2023 and hope next year will be better. I cooked up a hopeful EDM to celebrate 2023 that, despite hardships, has been hopeful and hopefully leads to a better new year 2024!
Excuse me ONE ABE, are you aware that Amazon music is trying to sell your SEP tracks for money? When I looked at the album because i was looking for you, I noticed they said for the Full MP3 album it was 9.49
Yeah.. That’s because every three albums I put out a ‘Trinity’ consisting of the three respected albums (1-3 = “First Trinity, 4-6 = “Second Trinity and albums 7-9 make “The Third Trinity, which is not yet on Spotify, but will be coming this week - next week the latest) I release through DistroKid which I’m sure every indie producer these days use. I always have “all platforms” selected and I didn’t bother altering it for the “trinity releases” They are all still royalty-free and free to download on my itch.io https://iamoneabe.itch.io/ for “$0 or donate”
No one has “fallen to that trap” yet, but I should make that post to further elaborate on that.
Thanks for the helpful comment and thanks so much for checking me out. SEP Album 9 was released yesterday and you might wanna check it out :) It’s ofcourse part of “The Third Trinity” and as such, can be found here https://iamoneabe.itch.io/sonic-eternity-project-3
Individual “Trinity pages” have all individual Albums in OGG format and the “Main Sonic Eternity Project Page” has all albums in MP# format. A bit confusing and I probably should make a post describing that as well.. :D Anyway, thanks for checking me out in so many places. Made my day <3
A collection of 200+ VGM, SFX, Intro Stingers, Ringtones and more..
I recently discovered an old HDD drive with 200 something projects I made around 2007 and 2012. After pruning the folder of the projects that would not pass for ‘Public Domain’ - as they were some covers/remixes of stuff I don’t have rights to, I decided to share the rest 205 tracks as Creative Commons Zero - or Public Domain by any other name
This pack consists of mainly Game Music tracks but there’s also some Intro Stingers and SOund Effects - there’s even a few “Nokia Ringtones” Ofcourse you could have them be a ringtone for a phone of any brand that supports MP3 ringtones (most do)
How is Nokia ringtone public domain? The Nokia tune is essentially the melody line from ‘Gran Vals’ by Fransisco Tárrega

The video actually has some tracks that are not mine and are not public domain, so in the “bundle package” you won’t find them. Can you spot the ones that shouldn’t be there? ;) I uploaded the video for visibility and easier preview. And maybe, because downloading physical files is so ninety-eight.. You could just have this Youtube video play in the background.
But for those, who want to use them in games, visual novels, logo intros, B-roll - whatever, I have the whole downloadable package hosted here:
https://iamoneabe.itch.io/vintage-collection
And I started to upload individual tracks for download here:
And with that, I hope you find something useful and/or entertaining there.
Thanks for being here,
Aron (ONE ABE)
P.S. In the tracks’ metadata, you might see artist mentioned as “Misterii” That’s the Finnish phonetic equivalent of “Mr. E” which I thought was a cool artist name at the time ;)
Second Trinity is now here! Every three albums, a compilation of the three last mini albums is made into a - what I call, a trinity. There is now 60 tracks in the Sonic Eternity Project in total. Thank you for being with me on this journey.
Album number four in Sonic Eternity Project - my ever-growing, community-driven free game music repository. First mini album of “The Second Trinity” so one third to the next big album and 40 tracks in total in Sonic Eternity Project (actually it’s about 47 at the time of this writing) I swear, the system didn’t sound that complicated in my head.. Sorry, if it’s confusing. It’s just for whoever wants to keep track, I guess. I went for a more gritty sound on these, I think.. Not forgetting to be annoyingly cute occasionally, too :)
The third mini album and the last one of “The Third Trinity” : the first “actual album” of the Sonic Eternity Project. More attmospherics on this one, but all in all a highly dynamic mix of modern retro rock and ambient coldness and cold Lo-Fi kind of R n’ B
Second minialbum of “The first Trinity” We’re at 20/30 in to “The First Trinity” as each minialbum contains 10 tracks.Thinking back, I’m prett sure I came up with the system as I went along.. Little more focused on themes on this one as someone suggested that. This also has one “fan request” and I threw in one chiptune jazz thing for good measure..
First of the thee mini albums of “The First Trinity” 10 game music tracks ranging from ambient spacecave/exploration to Annoyingly cute casual games and more action packed rally game feelings to Chiptune Blues. This is also the first album, which had a “fan request” - Let’s see if you spot it ;)
How to use CC-BY-SA assets in your game projects (or any commercial or personal project:)
https://soundcloud.com/iamoneabe/sets/free-stuff
Everything on this list is licensed with CC-BY-SA
You can download them and use them for free in any project you have - be it commercial or personal :)
Now, what do the abbreviatons CC. BY and SA mean?
Creative Commons or CC is a flexible licensing for all creators
BY means attribution - which in turn means, that the author must be mentioned
SA is short for ‘share-alike’ which, at least in my mind, seems most controversial of them all.
It means, that if you make a derivative, you must share it with the same license.
So, what’s considered a derivative? You can check the Wiki on share-alike https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Share-alike
But after reading that, I was none the wiser so, here’s how I interpret it. If you know better, please inform me with the form or Twitter, Facebook, Instagram - whatever :)
To me, a derivative is a straight copy. Like, if you just dowload all the content from the above mentioned list and start selling them, that’s not cool. If you rap over it, that’s cool. If you extract a 5 second piece of it and sell it as an “intro/b-roll/stinger”, that’s not cool. If you extract 5 seconds from a song and maybe sample it, add effects etc. that’s cool. But the attribution part still holds, so as long as I’m mentioned as the artist, I actually don’t see too big of an issue either way :)
New Album on Spotify: Relaxation Meditation Chillout! Try to guess what type of music is it ;) This set of 7 tracks was produced specifically focus and productivity in mind. I thought I’d make some song for myself to help me focus. Thought I’d share it so, here it is :)
