The Best Moisturizing Kit I Have Ever Used!

annyeong! It’s been a while! :) Im actually listening to Immortal Songs 2 Michael Bolton Renditions and  Moon Myung Jin (문명진) is slaying it! Koreans, not only are they super good looking but they are also talented. GOSH. Well, speaking of Koreans, I’ve been loving a specific moisturizing kit I’ve purchased not long ago and yes, you’ve guessed it right, it is a Korean brand. YEY! 

 Before I talk about ‘this’ product, I would like to talk about first how I got it. I believe that this specific brand is doesn’t have any store here in the Philippines (correct me if Im wrong). Now, I was able to purchase it because of my friend, Diane. Diane is an online seller and as far as I know, she’s ordering her products straight from the brand’s official website, have it shipped here in the Philippines, and sell AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS  to make up junkies like me  (Diane, if you’re reading this, I LOVE YOU!). When she posted her products on hand online, I immediately browsed through and bought few skin care and I noticed this brand and this is the brand of Jen’s (MEEJMUSE) facial toner that’s why I decided to go purchase it and it’s not not costly. Its only PHP 250. I knew it’s about time for me to intensively take care of my skin. HELLO?! Im already 21. Im aging. I use this kit almost everyday right after I shower and every after I wash my face.

 And for a little bit of trivia, our skin sometimes becomes oily due to lack of moisture, that’s why applying moisturizer daily is super important. When our skin is dry, it tends to produce more oil to battle the dryness, thus, it makes you oily and eventually breakout, When I was younger, I used to think that if I wash and wash my face, the oiliness will be gone but I was wrong and my skin is still breaking out. (but this is way way back when I was 16-18 years old). I constantly searched for a product that could hydrate my skin but not as feel as sticky cause hey, Philippines is a tropical country so I don’t wanna feel sticky and oily and yucky. I tried so many brands out there, other Korean brands, but it feels so tacky, but this is truly the one that worked.

 So without any further ado, here’s the product that I’ve been talking about:     

                                    MAMONDE FLORAL HYDRO KIT

Now, I don’t know if this kit came as free when Diane purchased something from Mamonde but I don’t mind paying for it cause cmon, it’s super worth it.

 The kit comes with three little bottles;

 I will review them based on how I use them orderly. After I wash my face with Etude House Every month cleansing foam, I would dry it with a towel and I would use the skin softener first.

  Using a cotton pad, it would just put a little (cause I love it so much) and a little goes a long way. It’s like a toner, I guess? And it smells so good. So right after my skin has already absorbed all the goodness of the softener, I would proceed to the emulsion which is on the other tall bottle:

  This emulsion smells really like flowers and I was so surprised that it was not as sticky as other Korean brands out there. I would just apply it using my fingers and when it’s almost dry, I would use the last one, the cream on the small bottle:

  I would also just my fingers to apply the cream and once it’s applied, I would tap it onto my skin for better absorbency until it dries.

 So now I am done.  I don’t use any other product aside from this kit if I would just stay at home all day and it has seriously moisturized my face like heaven! But if I would be putting on makeup and will be heading out, I will put SPF and Anti Sebum Gel from Etude House. Maybe this year I would add another skin care product from my routine. Maybe for undereye circles? I don’t have any yet, but I would love to use and test out products.

 So to sum it all up, this is the verdict:

PACKAGING: 10/10 (I don’t mind the packaging)

SMELL: 10/10

RESULT: 9/10

NEVER DEPEND ON LOOKS

when it comes to love, alot of people would primarily base it on looks.

yes, that’s not just a claim but based on observations and self talk, people really tend to rate physical attributes when looking for someone to love. This has been occupying me a week now and I knew I need to talk about it today.

I just hate to see someone posting in Facebook telling everyone that he/she is looking for someone to love but they never knew that there’s someone out there who’s always ready to love them back if only they wouldn't take physical attributes as a consideration. 

Maybe Im posting this as a reminder that GOOD LOOKS FADE. a good heart will always be better than that. Always remember that we all have our best version and only one appreciative person deserves to see it.

Let me tell you a story, I have this friend who’s always looking for a good looking partner. Well she got what she wanted but her partner and her is always having troubles fixing their relationship. I told her that as long as beauty is her primary standard, she will never get a long lasting relationship.

Yes, it feels good to be with a good looking person. But it would be way more awesome to be with a person who will love you unconditionally, love your family, dreams, aspirations, imperfections, plans and goals. until now I could not digest my thoughts. All I know is I learned how to look on people based on their heart, not their face.

I HAVE TO CONFESS

Why, Hello! here I am again.

yes, I’ve been so busy that I didnt have time to blog my makeup looks or even something special that happened to me.So today Im gonna make a confession. Well this is something I really wanna open up. 

I am actually working as a call center agent. yes, in a financial account from the US, but I am working as an outsourced employee. Let’s just call the company, company XYZ.

Now I never really thought I would like the environment out of all the horror story Im reading online about being in a call center job. To date, I am a regular employee.  At first I was assigned as an outbound agent verifying charges on customers’ account and I’ve been there for 5 months. That task is no joke, as a Line of Business, we need to finish 4-6 thousand calls a day and I am on the opener’s shift so until end of shift, my voice is fully utilized by the company. And every week (no joke), I have voice loss and sore throat. Despite doctor’s advice, I continued my journey. (hey the company and the people are good).

A week before I got regularized, I was transferred to the department with similar task but the inbound version. The schedule was super fluctuating and it’s really testing my versatility. I had absences and to be honest, one of that was just recent. I was out November 1 and I was not able to call my immediate supervisor. I am aware that I should call but because I had a long and tiring day at the cemetery, I immediately fall asleep and was not able to call. But prior to that, I also have absences because of voice loss and I had to be on a vacay so that my throat could have a little rest.

Just this week, I was so surprised when one of the managers handed me a document saying that I will be suspended for three days because of my recent absent. I almost wanna cry because I originally filed a leave for that day but it was not granted cause back then it was our off. As Halloween was approaching, it changed and I don't have any other option but to go on absent cause no one will carry things for our elderly family members.

I felt so disappointed. Yes I know it was also my fault for not being able to call. If only they had granted my leave, I could have not breached the rule.Now I already made up my mind and I would make it immediate. I wanna stay in a more humane company. A company that will not just look at their employee as a source of money but also as humans who has needs. 

No reason to stay is a good reason to go. 

I love what Im doing but this is enough. I had enough of voice loss, I had enough of night jobs, I had enough of inconsiderate people. I had enough of lost hours. 

I am not posting this to give company xyz a degatory remark. I just dont think that I could stay longer in a very demanding industry.

The best Make Up Portal in the Philippines <3

Hello girlies!

So yeah, I’ve been away from for a week (werk) so I’ll be doing my posts and all during sundays (or saturdays if Im still awake).

So today I wanna talk about where I mostly get my make ups. I am a lover of make ups and I can spend like 1/3 of my paycheck for make up. But dont get me wrong, I dont buy expensive make ups. I just buy what I can afford. And if there are times when I feel like buying one, I would go to this beauty portal (facebook group) and get discounted high end make ups.

DISCLAIMER: if you’re sensitive or you’re too hygienic, I am telling you this now. That some of the products here are pre-loved, but dont worry, those are all from MUAs who knows how to properly sanitize make up products.

So without any further a-do, BEHOLD:

This is the page where there are alot of sellers and buyers of make up from all around the Philippines. A close friend of mine actually added me to this group cause she’s one of the creators. (I miss you Dana if you’re reading this!) <3

This page actually has a little culture. Okay this is how it goes, if a seller will post a product that she’s selling, she needs to indicate all necessary details such as condition (pre-loved/brand new), manufacture date, date bought, content (kung ilang ml pa or ilang %), price, MOP, and reason for selling. If another sister will be interested, she will comment “MINE” which means the product could either be sold or reserved. (Depends on the seller and buyers agreement) Below is an example:

I have bought several make up products in this page, and all of the sellers I had transacted were all nice. :) That’s why sometimes I would first make an inquiry if there’s a sister who sells the product that I need before I go to the mall.

I bought like 10 lipsticks here, some foundations, contact lenses, setting powders and  korean skin care products. and I was able to save alot, but I got the same original item that’s inside the mall.

I AM AMAZING

Hello guys! Its really been a while since my last post. well yes, to be honest, I’ve been busy with my life.. and honestly, became so busy, I was not able to appreciate the goodness everywhere.

To start, yes, I am now single. (Okay ex, if you’re reading this, thanks for everything). It has been the darkest phase of my life (if I must say) when I waited for her, and when she returned, everything about her changed. I know, I have to embrace the change that she went through, I did, I adjusted, but nothing happened.

After some time, we broke up and that lead me to depression. well, to let you know guys, depression looks really different. I tried to pretend that Im happy even if Im not. There were times that I would go to the toilet, sit and just cry at the cubicle. One day, I was on hyper mode and my manager told me: “you know what, you’re so happy right now. I can feel your depression.”

until now Im still trying to fight that lonely feeling. But as each day passes, I’m enjoying my own time, I like serendipity, I like how I talk to myself, I like how I discovered some parts of me that I never know of.

My favorite make up guru once said on her videos: “The sun will continue to shine, the world will continue to spin” and “we are all capable of greatness”. That made me realize that there’s more to life than struggles and pain, there’s more to life than being hopeless, and that better days are coming.

Please dont get me wrong. Im still at the healing process, but it just feels so good to recreate your life and give it a new meaning without you seeking for approval of someone.

I know I am AMAZING. and I will get through this ;

Forever21 Love and Beauty Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi Guys! 

okay, I've been promising everyone that I'll be blogging and reviewing but I was not able to do that because of my very hectic sched. lols

anyways, last week my friend and I went to Megamall to shop and we ended up in Forever21. I bought dresses and yes, some make up. One of them is the Love and Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in Natural, this is how it looks: 

it has 10 colors which some were matte and some were shimmery.

okay, let's start with swatching. 

I started with the first row:

*sorry if its blurred* But as you can see the colors were really pigmented and gorgeous. It has a shimmery deep brown, matte brown, shimmery rust, shimmery gold and shimmery light brown.

now for the second row:

the colors were: matte dark brown, shimmery plum, shimmery medium brown, shimmery pink and last is the color which is close my skin tone.

PROS:

- good packaging

- intense and really pigmented colors

- very very very cheap

-comes with two sponge applicator

CON(S):

- ingredients

-made in china (Im sorry but my professor in college told me that China made products are substandard)

If I will rate this palette, I will give this 8/10.

I think this is very handy to carry and ideal to those who wants to sport natural look. Also, it is very cheap cause it only costs PHP385.00.

IM NOW IN MY 2nd PRODUCTION MONTH!

Hi guys! I apologize for not posting anything here in TUMBLR for I think a year? (wow how time really flies!) 

so anyways, the reason I was not able to keep in touch with you guys is because I am soooo soooo much busy with my studies before. (graduating student life). Fortunately, I was able to graduate on time and now I am working in a very awesome, competitive and multi awarded company--AXA Philippines.

OOTD?

Last week I've been reunited with my HS and even ELEMENTARY friends. My friend asked me to take a picture of herself and she said: "dali wala pa akong OOTD" and then natanga ako. I DONT KNOW WHAT OOTD means.

While on the way home, I realized that OOTD means OUTFIT OF THE DAY. lol. I think I wanna try uploading OOTDs. btw, I've been seeing post with #MOTD what does that suppose to mean?
