NOT LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY. I'm just happy to be alive. And need to tell my story. 3weeks ago I had a heart attack and 3 days ago I was struck by a car on my bicycle. The car hit me at 35mph. It's easy to take forget how beautiful life is when it's so easy. My body hurts So bad. I can't care for myself. I can't walk. I can't shower or bathe. I can't use the bathroom with help. I was hit so hard that a lot of my skin is still on the ground. My body aches in a way I can't explain. I kno I will recover 150% And the sound of that car plowing through me is stuck in my mind as a reminder. DRIVERS PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND DO NOT TEXT OR LOOK AWAY FROM THE ROAD U DRIVING ON. It's sending me into depression because I'm so active and now the slightest movement promotes pain. I can't move and I have nobody to help me fully. Im a mess. Can't stop crying because of the pain and because I never thought I would be so disabled. It's getting to me. Bu I'm gunna make it through this. Keep me in your prayers and thoughts and hopes. Please drive safely. And never take the simple things like running and walking and baths and eating for granted. (at Grady Memorial Hospital)
