Krigsgaldr - Heilung
Song w/ lyrics from 600 C.E
Haunting and hypnotizing 🖤
Sacred Fire, holy woods
Warm light to fill the hall
Nine realms are known
With my words this night
Let all realms hear the call
Light fires within, warmth to the True
Fire's flame burns to form the garth
Woods kindle well, with the fire of the hearth.
As I call the Kindred forth.
Whether Wiccan, Tradional Witchcraft, Green Witch, Hedge Witch, Volva, Seidr, Heathen, or any other pagan form. Blessings to you for the coming year.
The Norns... Creating and controlling fate, making them terribly powerful entities. Casting, weaving and carving.
“Then came maids; much knowing; three out of the sea; that stands under the tree; Urd, one is named; another Verdandi; scoring on boards; Skuld is the third; they lay down the laws; they choose life; for children of men; speak destiny.” -Völuspá 20
The Norns shape the fates of men, instilling desires to fulfill the destiny laid out for them.
Mandrake.. Or it’s proper name Mandragora officinalis. Mandrake is an unassuming little root with a formidable reputation. It is considered one of the most mysterious and potent of all magickal herbs. One of, if not, the most well known of the poisonous plants used by witches. This herb has a long history in Old World magick and is a must in the witch's garden. Used for divination, prosperity, fertility, spell enhancers and much more. Growing mandrake is not for the impatient. They can take over a year to grow and detest sunlight. Soaking the seeds before planting for a couple weeks is a good start to growing one of your own. Be sure to change the water daily during this process.
