God I miss this show
This sentence has five words. Here are five more words. Five-word sentences are fine. But several together become monotonous. Listen to what is happening. The writing is getting boring. The sound of it drones. Itās like a stuck record. The ear demands some variety. Now listen. I vary the sentence length, and I create music. Music. The writing sings. It has a pleasant rhythm, a lilt, a harmony. I use short sentences. And I use sentences of medium length. And sometimes, when I am certain the reader is rested, I will engage him with a sentence of considerable length, a sentence that burns with energy and builds with all the impetus of a crescendo, the roll of the drums, the crash of the cymbalsāsounds that say listen to this, it is important.

okay but waking up in the middle of the night to soft rain and knowing youāve still got hours to sleep, when youāre toasty warm and comfortable & sleep has made you forget all your worries and responsibilities and u go back to sleep feeling as content as ever
this made me feel warm inside
When you donāt feel like praying thatās the time you should pray. When you donāt feel like worshiping God thatās the time you should worship Him and praise Him. When you donāt feel like thanking God thatās the time you should be thanking Him and being the most grateful. You shouldnāt let your feeling be God over your life. You should be in charge of your feelings not your feelings in charge of you. Itās doesnāt matter how you feel. Still open your bibles and encourage yourself in the Lord today and gain the knowledge of God you need to face this day. Donāt live by your feelings because there temporary you can feel million ways everyday. Your feelings change all the time.

My flesh hates prayer more than Bible study because Bible study can actually be used for my glory. I can know more than others. I can speak better than others. If I study well, i can speak in conferences. But no one will know about my life of prayer. I will gain nothing from men but I will gain much from God.

Faith Ekakitie, a defensive end for the University of Iowa, described in harrowing detail an encounter he had with police as he played PokƩmon Go in an Iowa City park last week. This story, sobering as it is, ended not in tragedy but with Ekakitie thanking police.
āToday was the first time Iāve truly feared my life,ā the 23-year-old senior wrote Wednesday on Facebook.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder wrote that he was āhappy to be aliveā after five police officers stopped him and pointed four guns at him because he fit the description. At a time when police shootings of black men are under scrutiny, Ekakitie described the encounter from his perspective and tried to look at it through the eyes of police, too.
āMy pockets were checked, my backpack was opened up and searched carefully, and I was asked to lift up my shirt while they searched my waistband. Not once did they identify themselves to me as Iowa City Police officers, but with four gun barrels staring me in the face, I wouldnāt dare question the authority of the men and woman in front of me. This is what happened from my point of view.
Ekakitie wrote that he did not immediately respond to officers because he was wearing headphones and they approached him from behind. He was, he realized, in a situation in which āthings can go south very quickly.ā
Thank goodness things ended well.
It is interesting that the big news of the day is that an innocent black man was NOT killed by police.
