After learning that the manga & anime Kowloon Generic Romance was inspired by Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong , I became curious about its history and wanted to see the site for myself. That’s why we added it to our itinerary.

While the dense, lawless city itself is gone, it’s wonderful to see how the area has been transformed into a tranquil green space park that still preserves its legacy 🏢🇭🇰😲
