Why is there a throng for RBI Assistant Exam?
The honorary Reserve Bank of India conducts RBI assistant exam every year across the country to select the eligible candidates for various posts. It is one of the prestigious posts along with a good salary, perks and promotions.
RBI Assistant 2018 notification was announced. It is available on the RBI bank official website. The scheduled RBI Assistant Dates are:
· Online application registration commences on: 30.01.18
· Closing date of registration: 19.2.18
· Online Preliminary examination date: 06.4.18
· Online Main exam date: 7.5.18
RBI Assistant Selection Process:
RB Assistant exam will be conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains, and the Final interview. For Persons with a disability, the exam is conducted in two stages such as Online test and language proficiency test.
The candidates should be passed in any bachelor’s degree from any discipline. The age limit should lie between 20-28 years. Besides graduation, the candidates should be proficient in word processing.
Each one of the candidates should score a minimum mark in each section of the online main examination to get shortlisted. The online test will be conducted in bilingual (Hindi/English) except the test of English language.

The candidates who have shortlisted in the Main exam will be called out for the Language Proficiency Test. The Role number of the candidate who is clearing the Main exam will be published by TBI and an official notification will be released for the same.
Language Proficiency Test
RBI has handed out the Final interview with the instructions issued by the Government of India and decided to conduct language of proficiency test for the selected candidates. As the candidates might be placed in the public boundary countries, knowledge, proficiency in local language is considered to be core. Speaking, writing, reading and understandability skills of the candidates on the local language will be tested definitely. The final selection of RBI Assistant exam will be based on the marks earned in the Main exam, LPT performance, Medical fitness, submission of all essential acceptable documentary evidence.
The RBI Assistant exam preparation shall be done thoughtfully keeping the latest pattern, syllabus in the mindset and it is vital for the student to prepare for their exams as per the RBI Assistant exam syllabus.
