On Thursday, we will face NCAA champs and probably the toughest team in Group A, Perpetual Lady Altas. Currently, they are the #1 Attacking team, #4 in Blocking, #2 in Serving, #3 in Digging and #3 in Setting and they also have a very good Thai Import. So guys, let us all watch on Thursday and support as this will be a big test for the Lady Eagles. GO ATENEO, ONE BIG FIGHT! WE BELIEVE!

SVL UPDATE

SCHEDULE (Tue, Thu, Sun) April 24 - June 14, 2012 The Arena, San Juan City FORMAT: Preliminaries: The ten (10) participating teams will be divided into two (2) groups - A & B.(above) Each group will play one (1) round. The top four (4) teams in each group will qualify into the Quarter Finals. Quarter Finals: The eight (8) quarter-finalists will be merged into one group and will play one round, PROVIDED THAT: The matches played by the teams in the preliminary round will no longer be played but the results will be carried over into the quarter finals. Therefore, the qualified teams of one group will only play matches against the qualified teams of the other group and vice versa. Semi-Finals: Teams ranked 1st and 4th of the quarters will play a best-of-three series Teams ranked 2nd and 3rd of the quarters will play a best-of-three series Finals: The winners of the semis will play a best-of-three series for the gold medal. The losers of the semis will play a best-of-three series for the bronze medal. If the series for the gold medal ends in two (2) games, the series for the bronze medal will also end in two (2) games. A tie in the bronze medal series will be resolved by FIVB rules.

It's The Start of the Finals

l SHOUT the LOUDEST. SOAR the HIGHEST. WEAR the BEST. It's GAME 1 of the FINALS! Support our Ateneo Lady Eagles when they play against rival De La Salle University Lady Spikers at 2PM, TOMORROW in the San Juan Arena. This is the Lady Eagles' first ever trip to the UAAP Women's Volleyball Finals and they need to beat the Lady Spikers three times while the Lady Spikers need only two times to beat our Lady Eagles.

All Heart, All the Way.
