Bust of Nefertiti
Painted stucco-coated limestone bust of Nefertiti, one of the most famous queens of ancient Egypt, the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. The work is believed to have been crafted in 1345 BC. by the sculptor Thutmose, because it was found in his workshop in Amarna, Egypt.
This is a life-sized reproduction of the original, which was excavated from a sculptor’s workshop in 1912.
