I want to work on this one more.

The brain squirrels are *strong* today, though, so the fact that this didn't get crumpled up and thrown away is astounding.

I started on the right side. By the time I finished the hand, I think my brain just fucking gave up, 'cause the left side ended up giving me so much trouble I ripped the paper erasing lines.

The right side wasn't horrible though, so this shall suffice for the day.

I attempted this for months, and it finally looks decent enough that I can post it. There's some things I'd still like to see come out better, but like ... I'm getting there.

No matter how much I practice drawing hands, I just ... can't. Faces are very hit or miss. Mostly miss. Turns out I can draw cum a lot better than I ever expected to, though.

I should probably note, this hasn't been abandoned like it looks, June is just typically a rough month for me mentally, due to life events from the past. I haven't been as focused on the art as I probably should be, but I have it in my head to start things back up daily on July 1st.

There was no photo reference for this one, I just went from my own memory of a dream I had. The face is NOT right, but it looks generally human at least, so that's a bonus.

I'm learning that I am a lot less self-critical of my artwork when I do it in the morning. The hand on this SUCKS, but I didn't end up hating the whole thing because of that, which is pretty much how things end up going when I'm trying to draw at night. I might need to alter my routine.
