Genuinely what happens when Chihiro needs to do assignments/schoolwork in the colourful AU I'm so curious and if I could ask whats going on elsewhere? Is someone trying to break the sorcery :0 I love your art its so clean idk the colours are great

A)

Chihiro probably has a very limited idea of what the inside of a school is like, other than any media or stories he may catch from his dad/shiba. We’re also under the assumption that even though he was completing his schooling while in isolation with his dad, he only has the education of a 15 year old highschool freshman, and the imaginary school reflects that fact(I don’t think he’d pay much attention to anything other than his revenge quest, much less schooling at this point in the au).

The sorcery keeps him trapped in this space by acting like a sort of fog, making him forget outside events/obscuring details. It also pulls from Chihiros memories trying its best to keep the illusion.

If there are too many gaps in Chihiro’s knowledge it will force him into a dissociative state where he believes he’s completing an action without actually doing anything .

B) This AU takes place over the course of 2 weeks in the real world, while Chihiro lives months in the fake world.

Chihiros real body is unconscious, currently at Cafe Haru Haru under the protection of Shiba.

The illusion sorcerer missed their chance to kill Chihiro so they are in hiding, and waiting for the chance to strike. The farther away they stay from Chihiro the less effective the sorcery will be over time.
