episode 8⊠now in production
Last year, Valentineâs Day was âhow much can I buy him/her to show my love?â
This year, it was about the adventure, the closeness. And although we didnât have much to spend money-wise, we spent our time generously. Over last year, and the start of this year, we found that the best way to spoil each other is with our time, not our money.

âIf its so hard for you to love me, then why do you love meâ
You put me down for doing something that was considered wrong, you played it off as if I was a terrible person for doing so. You said I hurt you. Did you ever possibly think about what I was feeling, why i used the thing, how i felt when you did something similar? If your going to give me crap, you better give yourself the same lines, otherwise your just being hypocritical.Â
Jan. 19th
Jan. 19th, was quite possibly one of the hardest days emotionally that I have experienced. Today I had to say goodbye to my wonderful girlfriend as she stays at Liberty this semester while I stayed local and tied up loose ends with my credits at the community college before returning to Liberty in the fall to continue my engineering degree. I have no problem admitting that I balled my eyes out for the first hour of the drive back while listening to "A Car a Torch a Death" by Twenty One Pilots on repeat. This will far surpass the week that we spent apart over a year ago (the perks of having a girlfriend who lives local), as I wont see her but for short weekends and unfathomable amounts of skype dates. The one thing that I have realized is, that time with the ones that you love is so precious and you really dont understand how much they impact/ are apart of your life until you (temporarily) remove yourself from the picture, whether its an hour, a day, week, (4 months in my case). The part that sucks the most though, is that I know she will be in good hands due to the great friends that we have made through out the year and a half at liberty. Besides the physicality of being with her, im just gunna miss the opportunities to make memories with her and my friends on campus. Whether its staying up till 6 a.m. playing Settlers of Catan on a snow day, frisbee golf, cook out runs, pointless car rides, chick-flick nights, gaming, or just talking, these are the things that I am going to miss this semester. Though im obviously not saying goodbye, I want to say good luck this semester, Ill try an visit when I can, but please take care of each other.
Hereâs a LOVELY Star Wars themed wedding. If youâve ever been on the Cheezburger networkâs site http://wedinator.icanhascheezburger.com/, youâve probably seen some pretty horrible SW themed weddings, (the site does have a lot of those). Which is why I got so excited when I saw this. I LOVE Star Wars, and the bride and groom, Nadia and Dale, did a wonderful job on this!
We had a full Star Wars-themed wedding. The 501st legion acted as a guard of honour and raised $1000 for the Starlight Childrenâs Foundation. I bought an R2-D2 projectorthat acted as ring bearer, we had a Jabba the Hutt wedding cake, I painted planets from the Star Wars Galaxy for all the tables, and all the guests dressed up in Star Wars attire.Â
Says the bride describing her wedding. âEvery entrance was matched to John Williamsâ score. The stormtroopers entered to Darth Vaderâs theme, along with Daleâs dad as celebrant, then Dale entered to the Throne Room score at the end of Episode IV. The Princess Leia flower girls and my handmaiden of honour entered to the pretty Across the Stars love theme while I entered the chapel with my dad in a Jedi costume (and the beard he grew for the wedding) at the musical climax of the love theme. It was all timed really well and just tons of fun.â
Most of the guests dressed up too!
I am in love with her dress, and its completely amazing how if you really plan something, it will come together nicely. Nadiaâs advice on having an âoffbeatâ wedding? âPay attention to the details, and if your partner has a crazy idea like having stormtroopers line up along the back of the church, go with it.â
Congrats Nadia and Dale! May the Force be with you⊠Always.

Nice!
Itâs good to plan which pictures you want to be taken in advance, so you donât risk to have pictures that are too much alike and you donât forget to photograph any moments that you donât want to miss.
Not quite nerdy, but for those of you planning, hereâs a good photo list so you donât forget any that you want to take! (The funky back drop one could be something like a TARDIS!)

Congrats to Malinda and Kyle on their marriage! Â They decided to cosplay Wedding Rapunzel and Eugene for their wedding! <3
BTW Iâve been following these guys for years, because I love their Yu Gi Oh Cosplays so much. So I was thrill to see them do cosplays for Tangled.

I really like the idea of having each guest be from someplace else! It would be cool to have each table as a different place rather than have each table numbered.
This is a fantastic idea! Especially a great way to get your guests involved in whatever theme youâve got going on.
