I'm almost done reading Project Hail Mary (I used the free trial Audible credit for it and I'm reading the e-book along with it) and I wanted to watch the movie after..

But apparently it's STILL not streaming anywhere (at least not in my country) and it's only available for purchase on Prime Video.

So far, the only opinions I've seen online were "The book is amazing! I didn't like the movie, though."

So I have to ask the wise users of Tumblr to help me decide, lol. I'm not even gonna include 'The movie was better' option, because there's simply no way, lol.

What did you think of the Project Hail Mary movie compared to the book?

I was wondering the whole time I was reading the book how exactly could the movie be much different since the story is pretty straightforward.. But if they actually changed Grace, yeah, that would do it.

Sabalenka was about to serve for the match at 5:4 when I turned it off to go grocery shopping, so I could fully focus on the men's QF matches.. I come back and Shnaider is up 4:0 in the third.. And actually won it 6:0. Guess I should have turned it off sooner, lol.

I think that sums the match up perfectly. I was amazed by how much both, Matteo and Frances were able to still squeeze out of themselves in the final set. After having played long matches in the previous rounds as well.

The level of tennis was incredible and it was so worth staying up watching past 1 am. Thank you to both players and sorry one had to lose!

In the post-game interview for Czech TV Dylan Cozens said "The bronze medal doesn't really mean much to me. It's either gold or nothing, so.."

Obviously, I get that it was a disappointing loss for him tonight, but all I could think was "You know who would appreciate the bronze?! The Norwegians!"

So best of luck to your team! They were really close to beating Canada in the group stage already, so hopefully..

Welp, the Czech experts were joking at the beginning of the first intermission that they were saying we weren't gonna see the Canadians play hockey until the second period just like in their previous games but they turned it around in the first already..

But instead it was the other way around in the second.. 😬 Hopefully we'll see a typical (dominant) 3rd period from team Canada now..
