Nolan looks up at him, immediately yells, and falls backwards out of his chair. Legs up in the air and all. Pretty spectacular of a fall. He was so focused on what he was doing he failed to notice him until he spoke.

“Ow… How’d you get up there!?”

"oops, my bad, dude----"

with practiced ease he dropped from where he had been hanging by his tail, feet hit the ground with a soft thud. the smile sun wore was an easy one, welcoming and a bit sheepish as he held his hand out to the other.

"sometimes i forget that not everyone knows i can do that. skill. mad skill and a little help from my tail." his smile widened as his tailed waved from behind him. "are you okay, though? i'll. . . clear my throat or something next time."

“I can promise we’ll do the pumpkin picking.”

Though his occasional comment here and there wasn’t going to go away. While he did enjoy the fall, it was also a little too calm for him. His thoughts ran wild and his filter wasn’t as active anymore. However he did shrug a bit at Sun’s request.

“Fine, don’t know why you brought me along anyways.”

"sweet ! " a fist is thrown into the air for his own personal victory. doing things like this, the small things, were what made the best memories. not only that, but it wasn't often they could go pumpkin picking. he was going to take whatever chance he got. as he lowered his arm, brows pulled together to look at the other, lips pressing into a small frown.

"why wouldn't i bring you? maybe finding that perfect pumpkin will put a smile on that face and you'll see why it's so fun. c'mon, cheer up. we won't be there too long."

He looked at the suspects closely. “Well, last time I was bad cop, so I guess I’ll be good cop this time. So what happened? Pancake thief? Littering?” He curious to see what and who they were dealing with.

now that was something sun could roll with. he didn't get to be the bad cop often, but he felt like he did an excellent job at it ---- they both did. maybe this would be a cause for both of them to be bad cop ! before he could get too lost in his thoughts, neptune's voice pulled him back to reality.

"not a pancake thief, but---- a candy thief. just 'cause it's easy to take it from a baby doesn't mean we should."
