They're all in brief juicy summaries to make it hopefully simple enough. I hope you can enjoy all my interpretations!

Please note that everything here is purely my headcanons and it is absolutely more than fine if your headcanons are different. I'm just happy to pour a bunch of my imagination onto this doc!

This year I'm more than likely going to get a Switch 2 and I will get Kirby Air Riders as the first game for it.

I've been wanting to do this, but I've just been really busy these past several months.

However, I've been getting closer to being able to do this. And oh boy do I look forward to doing it. Can't wait to get my hands on Air Riders.

Today is Kirby: Planet Robobot's 10th Anniversary

Low effort image, but as I'm intent on developing Air Riders headcanons when the game releases, I already developed a headcanon where Rick is cheered on by the other animal friends as he races.

Rick's fur in his Air Riders render is so perfect.

I currently don't have a Switch 2, as I'm not quite in a good enough money situation to comfortably get one yet, but when I do get one I'm 1000% going to get Kirby Air Riders as my first game for the system.

Sakurai is delivering so hard with Kirby Air Riders. The courses look stellar, I love all the references and cameos, all the riders being able to use copy abilities is a really fun addition, and I really look forward to the story mode.

And for the characters that we can play as... I was hoping we'd get a juicy roster with particular characters I've been wanting, and boy did they deliver on that front! I love seeing all these guys show up. This is perhaps the thing I'm hyped about more than anything else. I can't wait to get my hands on the game and see these guys in action.

For the record, I do expect Taranza to be playable in Air Riders and that he's one of the most likely candidates of the ones they've yet to confirm, but if by the unlikely chance that he actually doesn't make it in...

If Taranza doesn't make it in Air Riders, what would be your headcanon reason as to why?

He had no interest in joining

He preferred to just be a cheerleader on the sidelines

He was too afraid to zoom really fast on a vehicle

He got disqualified for trying to bring a Sectonia-themed vehicle

He saw DMK in the crew and opted out as he refuses to race alongside that guy

He picked a fight with DMK and got disqualified because of that

Considering that Dark Meta Knight is present as an alt color choice for Meta Knight, I'd say that it's valid to interpret that he's in the racer crew, alongside Galacta Knight and Parallel Susie.

And just so we're clear, I am fully aware that it's not canonically confirmed that Dark Meta Knight had anything to do with what happened to Sectonia. But because this poll is asking for people's personal headcanons/interpretations, I'm just being lenient and letting those theory-subscribers pick the reason they want. I do think such scenarios could be quite funny anyways.

Idea for Kirby Air Riders: Imagine if President Haltmann was an NPC in one of the courses, and that the players could run over him.

Running over him with Susie would probably make me wheeze really hard.

Another idea: Imagine if Sectonia was an NPC that could attack players and impede on their progress in the race.

It would be especially hilarious if Taranza were to be a racer and that people playing as Taranza get attacked by an NPC Sectonia.

Running over him with Susie would probably make me wheeze really hard.

I also think it'd be hilarious if Hyness were to be a runover-able NPC too.

It's just more obvious and immediate with Haltmann because Susie is already confirmed to be a racer, whereas that is not the case for the Mage Sisters (and tbh I don't really see them becoming playable).

But I digress. Both Haltmann and Hyness are incredibly bullyable.

You know Susie's alternative colorations in Star Allies where she can be yellow-haired, blue-haired and green-haired?

Those should totally be more choices for her in Air Riders.

Same for Magolor and his Star Allies alt choices.
