I’m so sorry to use my blog for university coursework but I really need help and I can’t find enough people. This is part of a design student’s project to portray, in a picture book, a series of photos of different wearers of harajuku/japanese fashion and the contrast between their unflattering moments versus their best-dressed kawaii forms.
I understand how private these photos are so please do not participate if you feel uncomfortable. The photobook will NOT be uploaded online (unless you indicate you’re ok with your pics being publicised) and during my presentation assessment I will state clearly that nobody is allowed to take any photos.
What I need:
Write an email to milkylunacy at gmail dot com, titled (your name/online nickname)
Fill up this form in the email body:
- your name/online nickname
- any link you want to be creditted to e.g. your tumblr or any website *state if you wish to be completely anonymous
- what fashion style are you wearing in the 4th photo?
- if the main piece (dress or skirt for example) of your 4th photo has a name please write it here. for example “crystal dream carnival JSK”
- are you ok with your photos being publicised? y/n
I need 4 photos from you:
(send them as attachments, imgur, dropbox, any format) - photos need to show your face please do not obscure them
1. Photo of yourself the moment you just woke up.
Has to be well-lit. Does not need to be an artistic or “pretty” photo.
Please, please NO filters, no combing your hair, no photoshop.
2. Photo of yourself just before going to bed.

And lastly to put some faith in you guys, a random outfit of mine to show that i’m also a lolita myself and I’m not going to misrepresent the lolita community in my school project. i’m not the best lolita out there, my co-ords aren’t 10/10qt perfect, but i do put effort in trying to look good and i want you to have faith that i’m definitely one of you guys!
