@heavenlytorrentâ
    -- - âYou should try to get some rest. You look pale.â
This isnât new information; Soreyâs been sneezing intermittently since they were outside in the rain like that for so long. Heâd probably come down with a cold. Mikleo was lucky in that heâd been safe and dry, stored away with Lilah and the others âinsideâ of Sorey, but their Shepard hadnât been so lucky, himself, naturally.
Watching a bunch of people fighting didnât sound too appealing, but a tournament was more than that! It was a test of strength, and conviction, and honor! âOf course! Come on, Iâve never seen a tournament before!â Aaaaaand, off he goes in the direction most of the crowd is streaming in.
     -- - âWait, are we finding Alisha, or are we watching the tournament? Or do you think sheâd be in the tournament?â
Itâs all well and good to be excited, but Mikleo isnât sure whether Soreyâs even decided what he intends on doing, yet! At least itâs easy enough to not be separated from him; just a simple pull and heâs safely back âinsideâ of Sorey.Â
   âYouâre really excited, huh?â
@aoxre
    -- - âSorey... Youâve been acting different lately.           Is something bothering you?â
Far be it for Mikleo to straightforwardly express concern like this, but... Itâs strange for him to see Sorey react like this. Lilah had warned them that the burden of being a Shepard could be difficult, but... Mikleo had thought that Sorey would be able to withstand it. Perhaps he was wrong.
@shepherdofelysia
    -- - âThat was a closer call than Iâd expected... Are you alright?â
It had been a tough fight; theyâd emerged victorious, but not by much. It seemed as though the monsters here might be just a bit too tough for them yet... But that didnât mean he necessarily assumed theyâd be leaving. Mikleo sighed and held out half of a strawberry tart.
   âHere, eat this.â
finished the game (minus the dlc) about a week ago, so Iâm finally around for real now (mostly. it is still midterm season.)! gonna get on those starters from my starter call and do my one other draft.
It sure was lively, and Sorey began to relax at the somewhat familiar feeling; the charged atmosphere was like the days leading up to the festival of the sacred sword. âA tournament? Oh! You mean like the ones knights are supposed to have?â His initial worry gave way to a curious excitement. âMaybe weâll see Alisha!â
    -- - Now that they had apparently realized what was really going on, Mikleo allowed himself to relax and glance around curiously. âYes, that sort of thing... Fighters compete to see whoâs the strongest knight, usually with prizes and such, while crowds watch and place bets. Or so Iâve read.â Obviously heâs never seen such a thing, and it sounds... Somewhat dangerous, but then again, humans always do seem to come up with rather strange ways to pass the time. âShould we look for her?â
âWeâll find our way out! We always haveâŠeventually. Besides! My wayâs more fun. Whereâs your sense of exploration, Mikleo?â
He lightly shoved the shorter seraph, a playful grin upon his lips.
    -- - â... While I agree that it might be more fun, I donât want to be scolded again, is all. Itâs been hours now. Iâm sure gramps is worried.â
  He doesnât mind the shove, and exploring is something heâs always up for, but even so. Grampsâ lectures can be... A little terrifying, to say the least.
  â I donât pick fights, they just happen! â Though it was fun to mess with the shepherd and his friends every time their paths happened to cross. Besides, if they couldnât take on single seraphâ were they really capable of tackling anything else on the arduous journey that was fated for the shepherd and seraphim that accompanied him? He could scoff at the thought. They were in over their heads if he was a difficult obstacle.
  â But we could go a couple rounds if youâd like. Test your strength and all that. Wanna make a bet or two, while weâre at it?âÂ
    -- - âRight, of course.â He really isnât sure what to make of this man, frankly; while he fights them, he also doesnât... Actually seem to hate them, or anything. Itâs confusing, and Mikleo doesnât exactly enjoy being toyed around with. So if this is just some sort of game to Zaveid, then thereâs no way Mikleo is going to âplay alongâ.Â
   âNo thanks, on both counts. I have no reason to fight you. In fact, Iâm only curious as to why youâre here. I didnât imagine our paths would cross here.â
âNow that you mention itâŠâ There did seem to be an odd feeling around them. But if it wasnât malevolence, then what was it? âThink we should check it out?â
    -- - âI suppose we ought to at least have a look, yes.â
Just in case. Though once they began to move further into the town, Mikleo hummed quietly to himself. Not malevolence... Was there perhaps some sort of festival going on? Or perhaps a tournament? That seemed more likely, the more he thought about it. People getting all riled up by watching fighters compete, or something... âI think there must be a tournament of some sort.â
@ofelysia
    -- - â... Something here feels wrong. Not like malevolence, but...â
  He canât quite place his finger on it. Itâs not something he thinks is necessarily dangerous, but... Still, it might be worth investigating. Maybe the townsfolk know of something going on around town, or something... Or maybe itâs nothing.
@celestialfriend
    -- - âYou canât keep just running around aimlessly, you know. We should stop and think about this, first.â
  Itâs not the first time theyâve gotten lost in the ruins, and it probably wonât be the last, but it wonât do either of them any good to just keep going... Though, well, admittedly it might lead to some interesting or fun discoveries. Still, he didnât want Sorey getting lost in this place! Or rather, he didnât want gramps to scold them again...
@twingunning
    -- - âAre you here to pick a fight again?âÂ
  ... Not that he and Sorey had really stood much of a chance in the first place, but that didnât mean that Mikleo would just back down. At least this guy had apologized before... But that wasnât enough to clear suspicion of him, obviously. Not to Mikleo, anyway.
didnât realize there were so many blogs for this fandom! excellent.
I havenât finished the game yet (not really anywhere near it as far as I can tell /snorts) but if youâre okay with that you can like this post for a short starter? Iâm eager to jump in if I can! <3
