I just watched Romain Haguenauer’s (one of P/C’s coach) 1995 and 1997 FD, and they are so dynamic with SO much character and charisma. I am a bit blown... anyone know which other programs he has and where you can watch them?
I think he has programs on Dailymotion and YouTube, but I’m not sure where else, other than that. Any one care to help the op out??

A reporter asked the Shibutanis, “I don’t know if a brother-sister team can do this?” 🙄
I haven't seen the whole interview, but from her question, it seems like the reporter thinks that brother/sister figure skating teams never existed before the Shibutanis. Sibling skating teams have existed since pairs figure skating were invented. So yes, a brother and sister can do this, and yes, even the sensual stuff.

While some think brother-and-sister teams are constrained by proprietary, both Maia and Alex count their familial relationship as a big plus. "Sometimes someone will say, 'Oh, I get the icks when I see brother-and-sister teams,'" Alex said. "Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but in the ballroom world there are many brother-and-sister couples. I don't hear any complaints when people watch Julianne Hough and Derek Hough perform on Dancing with the Stars." "Maia and I are very aware of the perception out there and I think we've done a good job keeping our programs tasteful. In the end, the advantages – similar work ethics, drive and temperament – outweigh any negatives. "We know each other so well, which sometimes doesn't work to our advantage when it comes to small arguments, because we know how to push each other’s buttons," Alex said. "But at the end of the day, she is always going to be my sister, and I am always going to be her brother. There are so many different kinds of love."
The Groundbreaking Duchesnays

My favorite sibling ice dancing team of ALL TIME were the Canadians Isabelle and Paul Duchesnay. This brother and sister were the most exciting, out of this world team that ever took the ice. The Duchesnays were trend setters and were champions with millions of fans. Their routines were sultry, smoking hot but never appeared incestuous. I still watch their routines today. They are my all time favorites.
A funny video of Paul Duchesnay getting punk'd or whatever it is the Canadian equivalent of punk'd back in those days. Here is my poor attempt at translating French to English. The video is originally in English, we could hear some dialogues but for others that we cannot hear, here are the translation of the subtitles. PAUL: There's that kind of car in Europe. I've rented it and it is very expensive. [A girl walks in...] LARRY: Look at that girl. [Paul looks at the girl.] LARRY: She looks like a dancer. [A guy walks in...] PAUL: Oh! There is her boyfriend. LARRY: At first I thought she was a prostitute. [Man takes her bag and runs off, Larry starts to chase him.] [Police storms in...] POLICE: Drug squad nobody moves! [He looks at Paul and the girl.] POLICE: Especially you two. POLICE (TO PAUL): What's your name? [Paul looks at his friend outside chasing the guy.] PAUL: What the...? PAUL (TO THE POLICE): Did you see? It's Larry. My friend. POLICE: Is he involved in drugs? PAUL: I don't think so. [Paul looks at his friend outside hanging from a helicopter.] PAUL: He is hanging... he might get killed. I'm scared for him.

We have a stronger connection than other couples do because we've known each other our whole lives. We're definitely very honest with each other on the ice. When the other does something they’re not supposed to be doing, we definitely are sure to tell them.
Rachel Parsons sees the benefits of skating with her brother, Michael.
Skating with your brother or sister means that you have a really close relationship with your partner. We have always lived together and have never been separated for more than three weeks in the last 10 years. On the one hand, this is a big advantage because we can totally rely on each other. We have the same goals, and we both take skating seriously. On the other hand, you never get a rest from seeing your partner. However, we think that this has helped us a lot in the past. Skating together for a long time together has made us stronger.
Carolina and Daniel Hermann when asked what do they think has been the most helpful in keeping their partnership together?
I think our relationship is an asset for us because we are there to support one another every day. I really enjoy skating with Madison.

It's always inbuilt with the guy not to drop the girl. They hate to drop a girl. John's a great lifter; we've hardly ever had an accident. A good partner's very protective of the girl, and they'll always try to save them.
