“It's never too hard to bleed.”
mysticqveen:
“Yeah. Are you saying you didn’t just skip town?”
“No, I didn’t just skip. It was a necessary evil.”

“You’re Caroline’s new boy toy? What makes you so special?”
@bcnnctwitch | BONNIE
“In my defense, I heard you were dead.”

“God is missing.”

“They told me I'd never survive, but survival's my middle name.”
tombvamp:
“it’s not whatever.” she showed a dark smirk. “let’s make this fun. ask him what time he gets off.”
“like that has to matter,” she quipped before the clicking of her heels returned when she made her approach once more.
mattdono:
“Sure Vic.”
“Fine. See what happens. This town never wanted me anyway.”
mattdono:
“Whatever Vic, I’m just over this. I’m over having to be the babysitter for you and mom.”
“But you’re the reason I came back.”
mattdono:
“Of course not because like always, it’s about you and what you’re going through.” Matt could feel himself growing angrier but he maintained a calm exterior, he wasn’t one for dramatics. “And it’s not like we haven’t all heard that one before.”
“I mean it this time,” she whispered, emotion welling up in her throat. “Things are going to be different. I’m different. But it’s up to the both of us to find out if it’s for the better.”
mattdono:
Matt could only shake his head in frustration, dealing with their mother’s flightiness was enough without adding Vicki into the mix. “So you were just going to abandon me? Put all the bills on me while you and mom go out and get fucked up. You do realize working at the grill barely covers the bills right? I barely had enough to cover the rent, but I’m sure that doesn’t matter to you – It isn’t a bottle of pills.”
Anger flashed before her eyes. “Maybe this wasn’t about you, Matty? Maybe not everything that happens is in spite of you!” She knew she had to get a handle of herself, to step back from the rage, but his words hurt. They dug into her like a knife. “Not that you’d care, but I actually left to get help -- if you could even tell, up on that high horse of yours.”
mattdono:
“No big deal? Vic there was a search party, people thought you were dead. I thought you were dead.”
“I needed some time, okay?” the vampire snapped, growing emotional. “And I would’ve called, or something, but...” Vicki worried her bottom lip. “I didn’t think I’d ever be back.”
mattdono:
“Then maybe you can tell me where the hell you’ve been Vic.”
“Out of town? It’s no big deal, Matty.”
tombvamp:
celena smiled triumphantly as the girl gave in, even if it had been on her own terms. “better.” she hummed when vicki returned. “any troubles ? i think he had a thing for you.”
“of course he did. whatever.” vicki had signed off boys, or at least, the thought of going after one for anything but draining dry made her stomach churn.
tombvamp:
“that’s what friends do victoria.” she tsked. “i helped you so you should return the favour.”
“fine -- but if you think i’m not getting me a pair too, you’ve got another think coming.” vicki didn’t even flinched when she gathered up the pair celena wanted, and one for her, and compelled the cashier to just overlook the purchase entirely. “thank you,” she chirped.
tombvamp:
“please, i don’t make myself pretty for other people. i have beautiful legs and after more than a hundred years i’m allowed to show them off. because i’m helping you — compulsion is a gift and you need more practice.”
“yeah, you’re so much help,” the donovan let out a sharp laugh. “i’ll practice on my own time, thanks. i’m not your errand girl. your identity crisis is your problem.”
tombvamp:
“poor girl.” celena rolled her eyes before sighing. “i suppose it can wait until tomorrow but next time i won’t be taking no for an answer. i need those shoes.”
“what, fancy date coming up ? why can’t you get your own shoes ?”
