Running right to the limits on this little grinder. +/- 0.0005" tho, so I can basically eyeball it. Cylindrical dies are ideal for a wide range of precision threaded parts. Made for through-feed rolling and in-feed rolling. Thread rolling cylindrical dies are used in set of two or set of three.

New tool day. These Bahco wrenches are the best adjustables I've ever used. The jaws, worm, and worm rack are very nicely machined, so there is essentially zero play in the mechanism. #handtools #bahco #bahcotools #machinisttools

Modifying some urethane punch strippers. The material being punched is fairly soft plastic (think puckboard), and with the full contact area and 1/8" stripping length the parts were being marked. I reduced the stripping length to just 0.01" and reduced the contact face down to about 1/8" land (it becomes about 1/2" under full compression). #instamachinist #machinistlife #shoplife #machinebuilder
