Finally, someone he knew. Actually knew, not just someone who knew him but someone he had met and wow he had never been so happy to see Percival of all people! Well, okay, not that Percival was bad in any capacity but he could be…
Bare feet ran through sand, stopping short of the knight as he was careful not to kick sand and get it in his armor. Tanned from the sun, he had his sweater held out to hold the clams he had been picking off the rocks. Sand clung to wet legs as he looked quite a mess. Hair salt stained and sticking up on all ends even more than usual. Behind him Percival would be able to see a big roaring fire - it seemed Gran had certainly been busy.
“Aha, this island is full of a lot of people who know me, but not a lot of people I know!” He’s a bit out of breath, but offers a broad smile anyway.
“I’m really glad to see a familiar face. It’s really just been me, and,” as he’s talking, one of the clams falls from his sweater. Carefully, he bent over and picked it up, tossing it back in. “Oh are you hungry? I just collected some lunch.”
♕ - ; Percival’s stance was pretty much at the ready. One leg before the other, ready to catch the running Skyfarer at any given moment given how fast he was running. In all truth, he had caught sight of him much earlier and was ready to head over, but seeing him run to him in such excitement, sweater full of clams, he knew this would be the perfect opportunity for disaster to strike. At the very least, being stuck on this island now had a new task given to him outside of survival, and that was making sure that both him and his captain made it out in one piece after this. Not too difficult, as the only real threats on this island were things they would be eating regardless.
“ Well, I can’t be color surprised that being caught in a situation of sudden survival, your first instinct is your own positive disposition towards finding allies. Still, I’d appreciate if some of that energy were put into your well being before being happy to see me. “ In despite of that though, a smile was donned on Percival’s face as he looked down at the captain doing well off enough. At the very least he had food for a bit and it seemed like that wouldn’t be much of an issue for now. Shelter on the other hand would be interesting.
“ I’m fine. I’ve already procured a general idea what vegetation on this island is safe to eat and there’s no real shortage of animals. Prioritize your own well being before mine. Should I truly need it I can have myself sated with food in no time at all. I would recommend eating those clams quickly, however. Seafood has a penchant for going bad fairly quickly so you should get those cooked sooner as opposed to later. “
