The news that her pokemon are still within the castle is a relief, even though she isn’t sure if she is surprised or not by it. While Ghetsis might continue on with plasma’s liberation plan, she wouldn’t be surprised if the man kept her pokemon to hold over her head. “Can you hear them, are they alright?” The battle had been so hard on her and her team, and she’d never gotten the chance to make sure they were okay and seen to before they were taken. She wondered if she would ever get to see them again.
She wrapped her arms around herself, worry filling her for what the dragons could be experiencing at Ghetsis hands. “He won’t be able to control them no matter what he does, they’ll only listen to us.” She couldn’t hear Zekrom, not from here, but she could feel the dragon’s defiance.
At N’s words she turned to face him, making sure to meet his gaze. “I want you to know that I don’t blame you for any of this. No matter what happens, N. I don’t blame you.”
She should blame him, but once again Hilda proved herself to be the anomaly amongst all N’s findings. Defying all logic and reason, she told him that he wasn’t to be blamed for what he had brought upon her. How could he call himself her friend after all he’d done, and after all the wonderful things she had been?
It would have been foolish for N to even grace her with a reply, she deserved better, but all N had to offer was himself as a bargaining chip for her life. And the knowledge that her team were safe, N knew exactly where they would be.
“They’ll be fine, no doubt my sisters are tending to their injuries from the battle...” They were unlike any others in the castle after all, and N had seen them patch up injuries that were far worse.
The ones that wouldn’t be fine though, the two his father held captive from their chosen champions. Those were the ones N feared for the most, because Hilda spoke truth. Ghetsis wouldn’t be able to control them...
“He’ll have me control them.” He explained to her, eyes still refused to meet with hers. The thought turned his stomach, but it was what he bargained, pleaded that he’d do anything his father desired so long as Hilda and her Pokémon were spared.
