“No, I don’t believe I ever could either,” Romeo admits, mentally picturing himself in anything that Cain would wear. It wouldn’t work, in his opinion, very well… Green wasn’t much of his color. “It’s a little thing that makes you who you are, as silly as that sounds when I say it.” That much he does understand: else why else would he blatantly wear the Montague colors brazenly in the open?
There’s that comforting feeling again, even as he lurches forward slightly from Cain’s force of hand, straightening up again; thinking over how he needs to improve his socializing skills again. Still, rather than think too much over his own lacking in personal relationships in…ages, he ponders over what Cain had said. “Are you prone to loneliness, Cain?” Romeo asks, tilting his head because, yes, he would have to be told.
Didn’t seem that Cain is any bothered by what he mentioned, nor bored out of his mind at the shopping spree, thus Romeo counts that as a win; he’s even grinning about it! “Then we should find the time to do this more often. I need an excuse to head out more often, then you won’t have to be alone, how does that sound?”
“Aw, flattery? I’m touched, dude. But it does take a certain kind of guy to pull off green.” Cain’s got a smirk on his face, hand under his chin in an effort to make some sort of egotistic expression. He couldn’t quite pull the face off, but it was an attempt all the same.
He’s gonna maintain his smirk up until he’s asked if he’s prone to loneliness. This jolts him out of his expression, causing him to tilt his head in confusion towards Romeo. He was indeed. Very much so. Having grown with so few friends and almost no real birth family in current times... It was hard not to say he was lonely.
“I am. But I’m glad life’s turning around to fix that. I’d appreciate spending more time with you, sure. Any human interaction is fun, healthy for the heart, but especially for the mind. It’s pretty tough not havin’ many people to talk to, you understand right? I had all of Idelva to explore, and I’m smart that way. But it doesn’t leave much for friendships when your only talking jobs are usually business or government related.” He’s quite honest in his life. But it was worth mentioning it all and getting it in the open, especially if he could make a friend that understood where he was coming from and why he is the way he is.
“I gotta lotta time on my hands, if that means anything to you.”
