Social workers are really annoying me and stuff...
I literally just quit. I can't even...
Who needs exams when you've got whatever this thing is?
You're way too funny.
Who needs exams when you've got whatever this thing is?
Are you asking to have a go on my pogo stick, purple?
Already done, Klass.
Who needs exams when you've got whatever this thing is?
It isn’t just any pogo stick thingy, Elise.. it’s a… James Klass pogo stick thingy.
Sounds like fun! I'd ask if I could have a go, but knowing you... You'd say no.
Who needs exams when you've got whatever this thing is?
Nice... pogo stick thingy.
Memories That Should've Been Forgotten // Elise
friend therapy // daisy and elise
Daisy’s face didn’t shift when Elise asked her if she was alright and neither did her mouth, as if to answer. She wasn’t alright and Elise seemed to notice that but when did Daisy ever admit to her faults? ”Fine!” She said in a mediocre voice that in no way matched her emotionless face or worn appearance. It probably sounded odd coming from her lips and she was somewhat aware of that. “And how are you?” Daisy followed up, equally chirpy. “And you, Mimi?” And, at that, the edges of Daisy’s lips turned upwards into a smile. There was something about the sandy blonde, bouncing baby girl that relaxed her. Perhaps it brought her back to her own childhood. Around Mia, she had the opportunity to sing songs and bake cookies and believe and talk about santa, ramble on about the land of the Wild Things or fumble around in wardrobes with her for Narnia. She wasn’t the Daisy that had all these issues, she was the Fleur before any of that happened.
Knocked from her daze, Daisy stood back out of the doorway and let the door fall gently open, thudding to a halt on her pile of magazines which act very nicely as a makeshift doorstop. “You can come in.” Daisy offered, crossing her arm across her middle. Though, secretly, Daisy doubted she would be any good company. But, again, she would never announce any of her flaws out loud. Whether or not people noticed them, she couldn’t control but she certainly wouldn’t be drawing any attention to them. Daisy sat down on the floor; her legs were tired and aching from not being used enough, apparently. Leaning back on her bed, Daisy exhaled. She mulled over what to say for a while, she hadn’t an awful lot to converse about. She liked Elise, even though they didn’t get off to the best start, and she wasn’t being rude by not having much to say, she was just in one of those Daisy moods. “How’s Sam?” She found herself saying, without even thinking. She was hoping for some of her guilt to be diminished but something told her that the answer wouldn’t be positive and, if it was, Elise would be lying about it. “He should be out soon, shouldn’t he?”
Elise felt herself jump ever so slightly as Daisy replied. "Yeah, I'm okay... Just a bit tired" She replied, using her free hand to rub her eyes. She felt Mia squirm in her arms as it was clear that she wanted to be held by Daisy. "She's been fine, besides crying when she's not allowed to see Sam" Elise added, holding onto the baby's tiny hand. "You wanna go to your Auntie Daisy?" She asked, looking down at Mia who was pulling a cute smile. Regardless of what occurred nearly three weeks ago, it was clear it was still fresh in Daisy and Mia's minds as well as her own and the thought of what happened made her shudder. It wasn't like she expected Sam to get her out of the burning room, but she was happy he did. She still had a wave of guilt that it was her fault Sam was badly hurt because he came in to get her, when he could had just left her. It was a complete and utter accident and they all knew it, but Elise felt a bit sad knowing that Daisy was constantly blaming herself for the accident.
She literally felt her stomach churn when Daisy asked about Sam. All that came to her head was when she took Mia to go see him a few days ago and when she was having a cuddle off Sam and the nurse came in and said that Mia and Elise had to leave and it broke the little girl's heart. "H-He's fine" She choked, looking down at the floor. "I mean yeah, he's still scarred and stuff but he pulled through..." She muttered. Elise kept it to herself that there was a large chance that Sam was going to die after the incident, but the doctors and nurses tried their hardest to make sure he was going to be alright, especially with such a young daughter. "He's out now actually... Got out about three days ago, I think" She shrugged, looking back up again.

Cutting out pretty things from magazines? Not allowed scissors. Homework? It was impossible to concentrate on anything. Leaving the bedroom to talk to people? People weren’t worth her time.
An entire week Daisy Lebeau had been locked away in her bedroom, avoiding the outside world. The school around her buzzed on, nobody had come to check on her but she had both expected that and was happy with it. She couldn’t face people, not now. One thing that was a rare sight was Daisy, no make-up, pyjamas and her hair pulled back during the day. She was almost always pulled in, hair curling over her shoulders and make-up dusted over her fine features, anyone that knew her well could tell, just by looking at the worn girl, she wasn’t yet back to her normal self. Part of her doubted she would ever return to her normal, bitchy self. Had she changed? Had she grown up? Or had too many things happened to her for her to remain herself?
The knock on her door made her physically jump. She hadn’t said a word for the entire week, besides fuck off to the therapist that knocked on her door, desperate for her to show herself. She sighed as she rolled off her bed, shuffling towards the door. She made no effort to wipe the smeared eyeliner and mascara beneath her eyes or run her fingers through her hair to calm it. The ends of her pyjama bottoms scraped along the rug as she crossed the off-white room. Peering through the hole in her door, she could spot Elise, Mia in hand, were stood on the opposite side of the door. Guilt was the first thing that washed over her. She’d scarred the little girls dad, after all, and nearly trapped her mother in a fire. But there was something about seeing the little girl’s face that almost made her want to smile. She tugged the door open gently, ”Elise, Mia, hey.”
Elise shut the lid on her laptop after finishing a Skype call with Sam. "Wanna go see Auntie Daisy, Mia?" Elise said, smiling down at the little baby girl. The smile that spread across her face made it obvious what the answer was. "Lets get you dressed and mummy will take you to go see her" Elise spoke, getting up off the black leather office chair and proceeded to her bed and gently laid Mia on the pink and purple floral bedcovers.
Elise still didn't believe that five months ago she was sat in the hospital holding Mia when she was just born. Another thing she couldn't believe was that so many dramatic things had happened during her time there and they had gotten worse and have calmed through time. Walking over to the chest of drawers on the other side of the room, Elise pulled open the top drawer and took out one of Mia's light pink onesies and shut the drawer once more. She felt a smile creep onto her face as she heard Mia make little noises followed by a little giggle. "You having a little laugh, are you baba?" Elise said, going over to the little girl and changing her into the clean onesie. The pink haired teenager leaned forward and planted a kiss on the baby girl's forehead and picked her up.
The walk from her dorm room to Daisy's wasn't that long and Elise was constantly looking at the five month old baby in her arms looking fascinated with her surroundings. "You're so odd Mia... But mummy loves you" She said, smiling down at her daughter. When Elise came to her destination, she knocked the door gently with her free hand and waited at the door. She looked up as the door opened and smiled at Daisy. "Hey Daisy" Elise replied. She had to admit, not in a horrible way but Daisy looked awful. She looked tired, bored and sad. "You alright?" She asked, pulling her hair gently out of Mia's grasp. "Wait nevermind... Stupid question" She corrected herself, shrugging slightly.
I slept way too long...
Okay, fine. I can see why. He’s just gonna be super pissed off…
If you need any help with her, I can take his place if you want. I know I’m not much better, but yeah. You get my point.
When is he not? Sure... I-I'll let you know if I need help and uh, stuff.
I slept way too long...
Ugh. He only hurts someone if he has a reason to.
I still don't trust him Andie...
I slept way too long...
He’s not dangerous. That’s not fair. Just because she came out of your vagina doesn’t mean he has no right to see her when he wants.
He's not dangerous? He fucking stabbed Dan yesterday and he's killed people in the past... That is dangerous and I just don't trust him.
I slept way too long...
Wait, wait. Why not?
I know what you both did yesterday, and he's too dangerous to be around a baby... Let alone look after one.
I slept way too long...
Anyways, really though… How are you coping with Mia and stuff? And you don’t mind me dating her dad?
I'm doing okay... And oh yeah, I heard about that. Can you tell Sam that I'm not letting him see the baby anymore?
I slept way too long...
That’s me for you.
Quite.
I slept way too long...
Kidding. I’m bored and mentally fucking with people is the only fun I can find around here.
How lovely.
I slept way too long...
What makes you think I want anything? I’m nice now, remember.
Y-Yeah... Course. How could I forget?
