anyone fw these..?
I keep thinking about keychains
WHY do I keep having HORRENDOUS DREAMS I’m tired as fuck but every damn time I close my eyes it’s me GOING THROUGH IT
Tierlist: do ensemble stars characters take medication
And I'm commenting on some of them bc this is hella fun and I don't want to shut up abt my headcannons.
Rambling below the cut
Eichi's body is constantly half a bad day away from an urgent care visit and he is on MANY of them (not all of them are to be taken daily but u get the gist). His ass is not stepping out of his room without a backup stash either. His bloodstream has not seen a day without meds flowing in it. He also brings a stash for emergencies in a bag with him everywhere since third year (he knows better now).
Chitose, buddy, I'm sorry but antidepressants and mood stabilizers don't really work all that well if you don't take them as prescribed. I feel like MDU has a system where they check if he took his meds everyday bc his ass sure wouldn't care enough unless he's guilt tripped into doing it. I think he would also be on some sort of supplement (probably potassium).
Ibara has a spreadsheet with all of his meds, what time/days he needs to take them, how many, when to refill his prescription(s) and their potential side effects, ranked from most common to 'just in case it could happen'. His ass is not taking the chance of a surprise visit to the hospital. I do think he has a dealer to get him stimulants tho bc ain't no doctor gonna let him slide with maybe 4 hours of sleep a week (on average). That or he bribes his prescription. The spreadsheet is of course followed to a T but when he's stressed, the painkillers are emptied like ammo.
HiMERU also has a schedule for their meds but tends to hide them to preserve their image (yes they are slightly ableist, but only to themself). Their prescription consists mainly of supplements, some painkillers, and the occasional pack of antiemetics. There's a stash of ozempic too and get their meds solely through Ibara bc how would they explain identity fraud too a pharmacist? Idk, not the best, but atleast they're kinda responsible for themself? (And no they refuse to get antidepressants, they scare them).
I think Ritsu wakes up everyday physically miserable af and is forced to take his meds if he even wants to get out of his room. Of course some days are better than others so he gets to take his meds with breakfast, but those days are inconsistent. I think a younger Ritsu would've taken his meds before bed so that he won't suffer in the morning, but that backfired into him fainting in the middle of the day/night bc child-friendly medication isn't suppose to be strong enough to last for a full day. Nowadays he keeps a water bottle and his meds next to his bed to minimize the amount of time he needs to feel shit in. I don't know what kinds of drugs are on his prescription, but there's plenty of stuff.
Nozomi has a rule that basically says 'only take if strictly necessary/these symptoms appear'. But they are woefully mentally ill, so it basically dissolves into them finishing their prescription on schedule most of the time anyways. She's also way too prideful to ever get caught needing, nor carry medication on their person('unlike that newbie or Chitose' as she would say), so someone ends up needing to carry them for her. Said person is often Chitose but Nozomi would automatically ask for Juis (who doesn't always carry them). Basically, it's a mess and it's only her fault. (Yes I am very aware that this is not how these meds work, tell that to Nozomi bc she is the one refusing to follow psychiatrist's orders)
Mashu will pretend that he doesn't need his meds anymore and it usually goes well, until it doesn't. Between the headache and the joint inflammations (and random flare ups from past stress fractures) he can only surrender. I do think he will joke about his limbs giving up like an old man right before hitting the floor. He would probably have a ridiculous pain tolerance so he doesn't pass out from pain in most cases. But chronic pain is just an asshat so after a while it becomes just unbearable. And he will mock Nozomi for being irresponsible and not take her meds despite doing the same thing.
I hc that as a kid, so many doctors thought that Niki just had a bacterial overgrowth and he ended up taking way too many antibiotics and thus became allergic to them. But as we all know, Shiina Niki is capable of defying biology so his allergic reactions manifest as a violent growth of bacteria in all of his vital organs, which could lead to suffocation, heart attacks, blood pressure spikes, etc... As a result, his immune system is just wacko, he will simply get sick for fuck all reason while also coming out completely unscathed from biohazardous environments. And the only defence he has against death is 1 expired epipen (if he even remembers bringing it). He loathes the hospital too.
Pre-active-idol-otaku Aira was basically a shut-in and wasn't doing much to keep himself healthy. He's also a quarter frenchie so yk what that means? Anemia and vitamin D deficiency. (being french has nothing to do with it but I still wanna blame the french for everything). It's gotten better since he started taking care of himself but it still hits him every other week. He has some supplements but he often forgets that they exist (his parents used to remind him). And he's at risk of diabetes.
Knights would pray that Leo remembered taking his med before any important meetings and they are working, otherwise the ADHD monsters will basically start partying 10 minutes in. The strategy is to make sure somebody is with him 2 hours before the event and make sure he eats them (he hates medication you can't convince me otherwise), but unfortunately there's always the possibility of him wandering off or nobody being available to check-in. However there will always be somebody in the gc texting him to take them (chances of it being left unread at 60%). He also gets random joint pain and shrimps so much that Izumi is genuinely concerned for his spine. He refuses to get it checked out by a professional. Somehow doesn't have scoliosis yet.
Tatsumi actively tries to follow doctor's orders, only he forgets to set reminders to reorder his prescription and he suffers for the gap period every other month or so. Hc that one of his eyes is astigmatised while the other is perfectly fine, which makes him misjudge distances all he time. Now he owns contact lenses but forgets to take them out very often so yeah it's a bit of a mess.
BPD Mika is canon Michael yeeted a truth bomb on me (/j). Shu and Ritsu both check that he takes the meds so he's doing well for the most part. Shu automated his prescription refills as well so everything is dandy for Mika. Mika hates the feeling of pills in his mouth but he manages to power through the thing with a bit of encouragement.
Tomoya also has Hay fever, like Koga. His eyes get watery af.
Tsukasa is allergic to certain plant pollen (eg birch). He sneezes loud and his throat gets scratchy if he stay for too long.
Kaoru has a nickel allergy, he found that out when he put in some of his sister's earrings. He's also allergic to octopus (but will power through if it's a date) (yes that has landed him in the hospital once after a sushi date)
Both Natsume and Sora swipe Tsumugi's meds whenever they need some. Tsumugi ends up getting his bottles refilled exactly on schedule despite never taking them bc Natsume nags him about the date.
Mitsuru and Esu both have ADHD. Both forget that they have to go pick up the adderal.
Nagisa has a mild photosensitive immunity condition that activates rashes after a little bit of harsh sunlight exposure. He will forget sunscreen and protective clothing but the rest of Eden (especially Hiyori and Ibara) carries some around. He finds the situation both annoying and endearing.
Rei has most of the conditions Ritsu has but doesn't take the medication bc 'I can probably function without them' (which yeah but he's still in pain, loser). He accepts Ibuprofen and Ibuprofen only.
Idk what to say abt Wataru and co. they honestly need a better way of regulating themselves before all else but that's expecting too much from these ppl. I would genuinely not be surprised if everybody in this category ends up doing some sort of substance abuse.
Rinne takes Hiyori's meds bc 'somebody's gotta get rid of them by the end of the term so that the viper doesn't nag him'
Subaru is swiping off of anybody and everybody. He doesn't know that Wataru and Madara have active prescriptions and often joins Sora in yoinking Tsumugi's. He's mainly after anxiety meds but will take almost anything if he thinks it will do a good job.
The entire indigo section is a mess but 'oh it's fine, I'm fine everything is fine :)'... All of them need a psychiatrist and Raika needs safer painkillers than 500mg Paracetamol. Skipping over the mauve and pink categories bc Idk what to say abt them.
Tetora has a cat allergy but will not do shit about other than not actively engage with a feline.
Mao's seasonal allergies get treated like a mild cold bc 'it's not like it could kill me'. It plagues him the entire season but he won't do anything other than drink water.
Ibuki and Hinata are both cases of 'eh I've survived worse' and 'I don't need to take stuff for this haha'. They know it's unreasonable but can't bring themselves to care unless somebody nags them to death about it.
Yuzuru used to take way too much painkillers in an attempt to self-medicate. Surprisingly never overdosed but he go extra-cautious and stopped. Mood-stabilizers would've done him wonders but oh well.
Nazuna went to therapy after leaving ex-valk and got on medication. Recently, he got permission to stop taking them and is doing pretty well all things considered. He used to get growth hormone injections as a kid but that didn't work.
Self-explanatory for Chiaki. He prob still has some stuff on standby.
Juis used to be on sleeping pills but due to work constraints it got too risky so he had to just deal with it. (It is NOT going well for bro)
I have even more Hcs but I can't remember all of them...
