I fucking love guy and I don't talk about it enough. When I first got into audio bs his confession video was my first introduction to redacted. I never listened to oc stuff up until that point. The anime audios had me in a choke hold lol. I remember his audio popping up after watching some video and deciding to give it a chance because I thought the thumbnail was pretty. That video just felt like such a genuine perfect moment and I quickly decided to subscribe to the channel. Fast forward 3 years and it's one of the only audio channels I still watch and definitely the only one where I have watched literally every video at least once. It's been my main interest for 3(ish) years now and even if I go a few weeks without re-watching anything, I'm always checking for the next video. From Deltarune to miraculous I've had a LOT of different interests in that time but none of them effected me the way redacted did. As cringe as it is to admit when I first started watching the channel I was going through one of the worst times of my life. My best friend at the time had just moved, it was my first year being out as trans, and I genuinely just hated life. I couldn't fathom a world with me in it for longer than a few months, and while redacted isn't the only reason I'm still here, I'm very glad I found it when I did. It picked me up when I was down, it gave me something to look forward to everyday, and it made me feel like I was worthy of love. Even if I wasn't actually with any of the characters, the audios were a nice confidence boost. I remember sleeping through some days just so I could wake up at night a binge watch ALL of Avior's playlist in one night. The storyline just completely shocked me. The whole series had taught me so much about life and creation in general. And to see the tapes at the end of every video with messages about gay and trans rights made me feel seen. I never felt like a listener was forcing me into a box but at the same time they all have their own distinct personalities. Redacted is truly one of the best things that I've ever interacted with, and I'm so excited to see the future for all these characters. And I'm so so lucky that I found that guy audio. As much as I love lasko and Gavin and the damn crew will always have a special place in my heart because each of them have taught me so much, I'm genuinely so grateful for guy. He's just a great mood booster and he makes me feel nostalgic for sitting on my bed and giggling at his jokes for the first time. Anyway that's my rant, I hope everyone has a piece of media that makes them feel the same way redacted makes me feel.
