You know when you come across a post with good news and you’re like “yay” and you scroll down and look at the reblogs and some asswipe is butthurt because it isn’t good enough, like “if a black guy had done this no one would care” or “wow way to erase ___” even though whatever they say is completely unrelated

It’s pretty damn immature of them to shit all over something so good. I’ll tell you what those people are doing- they’re not trying to spread more justice. Their brains have been rewired to make themselves look like good people. They end up “caring” too much about every single little detail so that nothing makes them happy, because if they were happy, then they’d be overlooking microagressions and all that other bullshit and wouldn’t be successful at painting themselves as people who care about justice in society. They want something to be wrong so they can look like they’re on the right side.
