"ONE day I hope we can live in New York together" oh god, I guess it’s time for me to let this go now. maybe one day, while you’re sitting in your favorite little bagel shop in New York.. you’re older, finally happy, and she’s waiting for you at home, you’ll come upon this dollar…. and I hope all of our memories you’ve learned to push away come flooding back.. just for a moment… and I hope you smile, the same way you smiled when you saw me, and you can feel your heart beating at the same rate that it did as I held you so tightly in my arms i hope you can close those dark brown eyes and remember how you'd lose yourself swimming in mine.. and when you come back to reality I hope you wont try to reach me or find out how Im doing, I hope you'll just know in that moment... that everything is different, but everything is right. I hope you remember the way I loved you and I hope and you keep that dollar, and that smile... just for a moment.
