Please read this because it is EXTREMELY important me (a transgender man) and to other trans individuals.

The US Government is currently trying to pass an incredibly dangerous national law for trans youth called HR 2616.

This bill would ban all Federally funded schools from teaching about gender identity or sexual orientation, prevent teachers from using the correct pronouns and names for trans students, remove books with any trans representation in them, and even go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging trans identity AT ALL.

Any school that does not follow this will lose all federal funding. This bill would also require teachers to forcibly out trans students to their families, which would be fatal to any trans student with a transphobic Family or just hateful family in general. Trans people are already a group that already has some of the highest rates of being victim to suicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

This bill actively makes teachers put those innocent children at such a big risk. This bill has rapidly passed the house this week with support from all 209 republicans, as well as 8 democrats. But, it's still being voted on in the senate, which means there is still time to help stop this.

To help stop this, you can visit 5calls.org (look up 2616 in the search bar), one of the most top issues filed Oppose Attacks on LGBTQ+ Students. Once you put in your general location, it will pull-up contact information for your senator, and give you a script for calling them.

If you are a minor and/or do not feel comfortable doing this, PLEASE repost this on here, or any other platform you are on/can find! This needs to be heard and fought against.

Heartstopper x Solangelo?

I’m writing a Solangelo infirmary fic and realized I kinda made their dynamic similar to Nick and Charlie’s in Heartstopper—they’re both awkward, cringy teens, both aware of their feelings from early on but convinced the other doesnt like them, and all their friends are either saying “Just go for it” or “It’s hopeless.”

One of the funniest things about Shadowhunters is we hear in COB that parabatai are really rare, and Jace and Alec are really lucky to have found each other, which is a huge reason why Alec didn’t back out of the ceremony even though he liked Jace-it was so rare that he didn’t want to waste that chance.

But by the time we get to TDA, just about EVERYONE has a parabatai. Emma and Julian, Clary and Simon, even Matthew and James a hundred years ago.

I get that Cassie Clare wants to show how special some relationships are (also without the whole parabatai thing, there would be no plot line for TDA) but it’s funny how it went from ‘wow, parabatai!’ To ‘parabatai? We’ve got those at home’

My Prediction For The Wicked Powers

So I’ve been rereading every Shadowhunter book (because why not) and I’ve gathered a couple theories for the last series.

The main demon is going to be Lucifer. Not only was he mentioned at the end of The Lost Book Of The White, in just about every series there is a new Greater Demon to battle, and given that Lucifer is, like, the demon you think of when you think of demon, he makes sense for the final series in this world (sob)

Lucifer is tied to the man in the owl mask. Like, owl mask man is his lackey or something, getting magic from the faeries to help bring him back to rule over the mortals, yada yada. Being in the Courts is too important a position to have without some demon knocking on your door asking to control your body or something

This isn’t a theory, as Cassie confirmed it on her Insta, but the whole thing of more demons coming into the world all the time (mentioned in City of Bones) will be addressed and dealt with. It could be a HUGE plot point, because essentially if more demons come every year, and there are less Shadowhunters every year (also mentioned in City of Bones), this could be a make or break it moment for the entire Shadowhunter community.

Zara Dearborn is going to die. This isn’t a theory so much as a hope, a plead, a wish. Not only will she die, the entire ‘locked out of Alicante’ thing will have some solution. Hopefully, she will die and everyone will be like, ‘Oh no-wait, we don’t care’ then be happy

CLACE AND SIZZY WILL GET MARRIED WITH A HUGE WEDDING AND LUKE WILL WALK CLARY DOWN THE AISLE AND ALEC WILL WALK ISABELLE DOWN AND JACE AND SIMON WILL BE LIKE OMG WE’RE SO LUCKY AND RAPHAEL/MAX/TAVVY WILL BE THE RING BEARERS AND IT WILL BE SO CUTE CUZ WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR LIKE TWENTY YEARS

Ty will eventually have to let Livvy’s spirit go and be really upset but then Kit will come and comfort him and it’ll be really sweet. Also, Livvy ships Kitty SO HARD. Like, she writes fanfiction of them in Ghostland or wherever she is.

Someone from the Lost Hours/Infernal Devices period will come back somehow-as a ghost or something. Fingers crossed for one of the TLH gang!

So. Much. Sadness. Kit and Ty angst, Dru trying to find Jaime (as mentioned in SOBH), weddings that might have to be cancelled (FUCK YOU Z@R@ D3@RB0RN) also, Jace and Clary are the adults in charge of the NYC Institute now, so they will definitely cry at not being able to do fun stuff anymore. thank you for coming to my TED talk.
