Kim Dahyun, probably the most quirkiest and slowest member of South Korea’s top girl group, TWICE. She’s known to be really… extra. There was no other word to say it. She’s the member that’s always making the other members crack up, with her funny faces and weird gestures. Dahyun is also known as dubu meaning tofu due to her really white skin. Her friends, members, fans, and sometimes even her sunbaes call her it. She dislikes riding rollercoasters. It had been twice that she was forced to ride it, with cameras, even. Everytime she rides them, she would just close her eyes to somehow forget that she’s not riding it. ( though slightly effective, she still looks silly. ) Overall, Dahyun is a sweet girl. Always reminding her fans to stay warm during the cold, and to eat.

It was during SIXTEEN when the final lineup for TWICE, JYP’s new girl group name, was going to be announced. It was… nerve wracking. Dahyun had thought of all the missions she failed, and all of her overall performance in the said survival show. Ah, she was sure she wouldn’t get in. But being the optimist that she was, she tried to shrug it off. Kim Dahyun. that was her, wasn’t it? Accepted? or Derailed? Oh, she was accepted? She couldn’t believe her ears. Was she really one of the TWICE members lineup? Unbelievable, it was a miracle, and she was thankful. She looked around her other fellow trainees with an unsure look. Did she really make it? Hastily she walked forward and faced the audience. Thank you, she muttered quietly. She was already crying in happiness. She reminded herself to work hard every day and not take this opportunity for granted.

It’s the month of love, but celebrities often do not have the luxury of publicly declaring their love for a significant other or taking them out to celebrate romantic holidays. Busy schedules often make it difficult to meet someone that they can form a relationship with, and even if a celebrity does manage to overcome this hurdle, the anger of fans and the general public often awaits them on the other side. This is one of the most well-known trade-offs of being in the public eye, but that doesn’t make it any easier for those that are vilified for finding love, or even those that are too afraid to initiate a relationship.

Jung Yonghwa, playfully dubbed Prince of Asia, is CNBlue’s leader and main vocalist. Music is his life and passion and it shows in the countless songs he’s written and produced both for CNBlue and his solo-career, as well as collaborations with other artists.

Apart from his musical talent, he’s also known as an actor from various dramas, as an MC and - last but not least - as FNC’s self-declared dance King.

All in all, Yonghwa is an all-around talent, but remains humble and grateful for every day he’s allowed to live his dream and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

He had made it. He had really made it. Whenever he had been asked what his biggest dream was, Yonghwa had always answered ‘to be Number 1 on the Billboard charts’. It was always more of a joke, an unachievable dream he aimed for anyway.

But now he had made it. He was Number 1 on the Billboard charts. Not only that, but it had been with his solo album, no less. Something he had poured all of his love, passion and sweat, as well as countless sleepless night into. It was a part of him, a part of his soul.

At first, he hadn’t believed it. When his manager had walked into the room and told him he was Number 1, Yonghwa had just stared at him as if he was stupid. 'What a cruel joke’ had been his first thought. But then Bruce had showed it to him on his phone and after a few seconds of just staring blankly at it, it suddenly had hit Yonghwa. His first reaction had been 'no way’, before he just burst out into tears. Happy tears, needless to say.

Born on November 2nd, 1998 in Hong Kong, Chong Ting Yan (莊錠欣) also known as Elkie, joined CUBE Entertainment’s rookie girl group CLC as a late addition to the group in 2016 during their High Heels promotions. Before debuting with CLC, Elkie was most known as a Hong Kong TVB child actress — appearing in various television dramas and movies. Known for her bright and easy going personality, she brings a fresh new take to CLC as a food loving happy go-lucky vitamin of the group.

In the past, the former child actress never imagined that she’d be where she is now, standing on this stage in Seoul.. so far away from home along with these six other girls. It was still all too strange for her. Debuting as a late addition to an already established group did have it’s ups and downs. Butterflies in her stomach, she tries to prepare herself the best she can. Backstage, she’s holding her fellow foreign member’s hand, known as Sorn – who’s trying her best to calm the young girl down. Not everyone was ecstatic that she was the newest addition to CUBE’s CLC, she knew that, however she wanted to prove to everyone that this is where she belonged. Putting that signature cheery grin of her’s back onto her face, she struts onto the stage with her six new sisters. Her heart’s a blender of mixed emotion, nervousness, anticipation, happiness – and she’s ready to tackle it all head on.
